What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

😂😂😂 That one looks crazier than mine!

    Grapple. Wins and Losses

I don't have a grapple, but I also don't have a lot of property so the forks I own have done what I wanted them to do. That being said, I could have used a grapple in a few situations that would have saved me some time. I am going to improvise and weld a thumb bracket to my forks so I can use...

That's what I was thinking, it's a cool tree and I've never seen one grow at an angle like that lol.

    Off center zerk

FYI locknlube makes a "standard" fitting with a grease zerk at the end that you can clamp the locknlube fitting on to get to harder to access zerks. I ordered their full accessory kit and it's really come in handy for the FEL angled zerks and for my ZTR.

Thats a black cherry that grew sideways to get some sunlight away from the buckthorn and cedars crowding it out lol. It's a really solid tree surprisingly enough 😂 I may take it down but it looks neat.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Boundary survey is being completed today, just found out I have more woods to clear (not a problem, but definitely more work). I own another 6-10' near that cluster of uncleared trees by the big oak way in the background to the left of the wheelbarrow on the first photo. Guess I'll be running...

Why are you so fast Homestead Implements!?

I hear you, did you order the Kubota branded 3rd function? Dealer told me mine was backordered for my LX and mysteriously showed up a week later 😂 hopefully yours shows up soon.

Sounds like a good problem to have 😁 you could have ordered from EA and had your grapple next year lol

Thanks! It's been a fun project for the last few months on and off. Trenching looks good, I wish I had a backhoe 😭

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finished box blading in the woods and picked up all the old roots and junk that was there. Moved a bunch of dirt from high spots in the woods over to the side of the house that needed grading/filling after removing 5-6 cedars that were in the way a few weeks back. The topsoil I brought over from...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I don't blame you, that's a good price compared to a new one shipped (probably $3k) and that unit looks good from the photos. Enjoy and report back on how well it works with the LX.

Awesome chipper and truck! What'd you get it for if you don't mind me asking? Congrats on the new addition to your family!

Zero turn tires for hilly yard

I found it easier to slowly drive up the hill with the ztr and reverse down. This doesn't work if the hill is too steep though, I have done wheelies in the past 😅

Those would work, the part numbers I provided will too but the ones shown above are easier to countersink due to smaller diameter.

Zero turn tires for hilly yard

Same here with my zero turn and sandy soil. I usually do small radius 3pt turns or J turns to avoid tearing up the lawn.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Apologies! I was mistaken. The factory accessory cutting edge is actually countersunk on the bottom to accept carriage bolts. The nuts are on top of the bucket with the lock washers. Honestly, I'd set your pirana bar under your bucket, mark the holes, and let a machine shop punch the holes or...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

RE: your earlier post, I'm strongly considering the 1x or 5/4 material, will most likely get me the height I need and I don't have to screw around with z brackets. The Z brackets will be cool, but also a PITA and my welder isn't hooked up yet (waiting on Square D QO panel recall work to be...

    Things Are Expensive…So What?

Lumber futures are down, should see better prices in the near future unless yet another disaster comes around.

Thank you for that, a Z bracket with gusseted end would be bulletproof. Here are my two options based on your feedback and @Old_Paint.
