What does the sticker on your vehicle say about you or what people may think about you

I graduated 10 years ago, I was never taught any critical race theory nor was I taught to be offended by everything. What is this drivel? Fox News? From the internet: "Critical race theory is an academic concept that is more than 40 years old. The core idea is that race is a social construct...

What does the sticker on your vehicle say about you or what people may think about you

Problem is, some snowflakes will resort to violence/vandalism to prove their point, would rather stay incognito lol. While we have freedom of speech, we do not have freedom from consequence (right or wrong). Snowflakes are multigenerational from boomers to gen Z and with various levels of...

What does the sticker on your vehicle say about you or what people may think about you

No stickers here. When I was younger, I thought "2A" style stickers were cool, but all they do is advertise that your vehicle is worth breaking into. Any other sticker can potentially offend a whole lot of people lately, something that I'd rather avoid given how sensitive folks are.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

@enriquesonora , @Old_Paint Dealer found the issue - leaking oil pan as I suspected. The pans are RTV'd so I'd guess insufficient RTV or insufficient cure time/process but who knows. I am GLAD this thing is under warranty. I didn't check my service manual, but dealer mentioned having to split...

Any advice on which one to buy?

Depends on how high he wants to lift, loader lift @ full height at pin for the L2501 and the Kioti CK2610 are 113X and 13-14XX respectively. Lift at pin going to 1m (3ft) will be much higher. Considering OP's budget, and that all 3 of the machines listed are $8-12k above OP's budget new, they...

Any advice on which one to buy?

Seems like used LX2501 HST, LX2610, or B2650 (or similar older generation tractor) will fit the bill. With that much acreage, unless you're comfortable servicing a machine with higher hours, you may consider putting money down and taking advantage of financing the difference with low rates (if...

Sometimes you just have to say it...

I agree with you 100% on all comments, I was mainly being facetious in light of the 230gr remark. Edit* looks like the article was updated 12/1, suspect was arrested for murder.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Agreed, their craftsmanship and level of quality is unsurpassed in most cases. I am also loyal to Kubota after owning my LX, despite the leak (I won't fault them for that, liquid gaskets are finicky).

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Japanese companies typically have a higher level of QC than others, this leak would have been caught at inspection of it was present in my opinion but seemed to have developed after the fact. I've seen QC cameras that can measure sealant application and thickness (among other things) on the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Definitely will let you know, I was shocked to see drops of oil on my garage floor after 23 hours or so. Besides stump grinding with an in-spec unit, I haven't done anything too crazy with my tractor yet. My leak involved oil accumulating on the LH side frame rail (when viewed from the back of...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Sent the LX2610 with 26.3 hours on it back to the dealer to fix a small oil leak that developed under warranty. I'm surprised that I had an oil leak but remember reading that some of these newer machines can leak from the pan due to insufficient gasket material.

Little things that make life easier

Mafell track saw brings me similar joy, if I ever need to make precision cuts on sheet goods or cabinets, nothing compares. Here are some box newells that I scribed to the staircase I refinished (I am not a finish carpenter, so the 1/32" gaps are within my level of satisfaction 😂)
