Yea if I reverse polarity my tungsten is just gone haha. Aluminum is very hard but it's a very useful skill for the farm, especially with irrigation pipe. If your tungsten is sharp it literally is just a perfect needle point arc but I am constantly fighting my urge to move closer as I did alot...

You always end up spraying in the wet of spring pretty early. Getting stuck is not a huge surprise.

It's definitely not over heating, it would have to be a bad thermal overload. My other jet pumps get much warmer under longer runs and are fine. This one cuts out when the casing is barly warm to the touch

I'm slowly figuring it out, although I have better luck with a flat tip tungsten than ground to a point. Im not good enough yet not to occasionally drown my tip. If it's a point then it makes a ball and the arc goes wild. It's very fun though
