    Jerky Loader on L48 ?

dave welcome aboard and it sounds like contamination on the lift side of the spool in the Front Loader valve body. The weight of a fully loaded bucket will be enough resistance to create hydraulic shutter if say a small chip (left over from initial machining process) is lodging between the bore...

    L3130 lost power steering??

Yep Ed you are right KubotaLink produced nothing and service engineering says "no kit" forth coming either. I guess they want to sale part assemblies at the risk of loosing customers if the rumor is true about the valve block being nothing more than a 50 cent spring and detent ball...... shame...

    Jack up the tractor??

avnut look at the operators manual one more time and notice you have to put the deck height gauge on 1, and lower the hydraulic control valve all the way down ( 1/4" from your gauge wheels touching the ground) turn your wheels all the way left, lower the "front" deck linkage and remove ( put...

    L295DT Timing Slipped - why?

Wow Ed what a story! Never knew the older indirect injection 4 cylinders had a habit of seizing up camshafts. I bet you Kubota grapped that block up quick. Did the District Service Manager ever tell you what they found on tear down? Interesting.... I lost a M11 Cummins like that years...

    Kubota vs: Bob Cat

Chief are you talking about the brand new SVL75 & 90s? What price did you get quoted? Where did you see this? Ob1

    L295DT Timing Slipped - why?

fjdave are you absolutely sure your at TDC on the firing stroke? Did you put a dial indicator on number one piston to check lift? Tell us more about your tear down this is going to be a good post! ;)

    L3130 lost power steering??

Vic I'm trying to get my hand on it I think it's in the TSI stage with Kubota and not published. My contact is swamped with back log of Dealer questions and promised to slip me the information asap. At least a procedure. Its an Aeration issue with pressure relief in the Obitial steering stack...

40 amp fuse ("fusible link?) keeps blowing

Okay I'm back Bruce with the Diagrams you need for troubleshooting, cowless pastures mowed, you may be spot on with a dragging starter because the 40 amp fuse is a heavy duty slow blow. It is in series directly with the #30 pole on the ignition switch and heavy gauge wire terminating at the...

    Kubota M9000 Starter

Red-Oak I like your handle.... Make sure it is the starter by placing a remote push button switch between the heavy battery terminal on the starter and the solenoid coil terminal on the starter. By doing this you are bench testing the starter still on the tractor and eliminating the relay...

    Front Cab Lights

Okay sounds safe with 25 watt lamps but if you add rear lights which I have on all my Kubotas please consider using a relay and carry your return wires back to the battery (-) pole for a good electro-mechanical designed tractor system. Vibration and corrosion are our worst enemies with lights...

    Killed 2 Regulators B7100HST

"wildy" is your term for the absence of brushes for exciting the stator winding Via the rotor? This is to say an AC Generator = Dynamo = Alternator and I think we all are on the same page with terminology. As far as dumping to ground only the excessive voltage over the value in R1 per GM diagram...

    Front Cab Lights

If your switch contacts fry as time goes by, put a relay in your battery fused circuit to the numbered 30 pin looping also on to pin 86, of your relay of choice, use 12 gauge wire for the heavy current the light can develop at idle, then run a 16 gauge to your new switch from the numbered 85 pin...

    L3130 lost power steering??

I'm trying to get my hands on the service bulletin or the WSM showing the procedure. Evendently it's pretty common failure on these L3130 HST.... more later....:)

    Killed 2 Regulators B7100HST

Ron the bottom line is like you said the battery poles should be seeing any where from 12.9 volts DC at low idle to 13.94 at high idle and the fact that you are burning out regulators ( P/N 15372-64602 ) tells me you have a dead short allowing overcurrent to destroy the transistors, diodes and...

    L3130 lost power steering??

Hey Kinda hold off I found out that the Orbital Steering valve has a spring loaded machined pin (1/4") riding on the bottom ( Brass Plate ) valve. The fix is to scribe the plate for alignment and then remove the bolts, hose whatever is attached and elongate the spring so the spring will force...

    L3130 lost power steering??

Kinda... welcome aboard guy! Depending on time of purchase you are still covered by the Kubota warranty. If your tractor was "wet" from the factory it had Super UDT in it with the correct micron filter for the particulate size of contamination during break in. Your engine oil is not in anyway...

    It could happen to you~~!!!

Good post Joe this and tire inflation is often the last to get attention before failure. I had loose hub bolts on the front of my new M9540DT from the dealer and it took swapping the tire positions to figure out what the noise was. Dealer came to the house and still couldn't find it :p...

    L-3130 IntelliPanel Problems

Hi Phil and welcome to the Forum :) I read something about this on another forum a couple months ago now and I didn't see the out come of the fix :( but if you have checked the fuses feeding the various circuits feeding 12V to the panel and all are okay I wouldn't start replacing anything until...
