After reading this thread, no way will I buy the front snowblower. Was considering one down the road but not anymore. It’s BS you folks are going through this with the high cost of the blower. Just a thought, anyway you can take that part off and have a machine shop make one with better strength?

Can you measure the top of your cab to top of the ROPS? Looking at the picture on the link you provide, looks like 2 inches. If it’s 4 or more inches, I may get that. my new set of tires and rims should be any day. A little bigger so am hoping my clearance doesn’t change much.

Get a thermal scope on a 22 or 410 shotgun. Have used the poison pellets with good success in the past.

I have my ROPS like that. Rests on the pins. I like that top. Where did you get that? Would like a full cab but out of my budget for now.

Big difference from what I have read online. Almost half the cost going rear 3 point. New front ones go around 6 grand. 3 point around 3 grand, depending what you buy. I keep checking craigslist to see if I get lucky on a used one, front or back.

Will consider this if I decide to do this. Will spend some more time with the tractor to see if I need it. Will ask the dealer on costs when I go pick up my tires next week. Watched some videos seeing this in action. Seems a good investment.

Wish they gave me enough to save some. Got enough for a couple days. That’s it. No more. You’re on your own after you run out. Know other folks in same situation. The new BS rule is only get a few days worth, then you deal with it on your own.

Does anyone make a self contained unit that has its own reservoir? Or do I have to add a to the current hydraulics system? Just looking into this for future reference but would come in handy either way.

Am hoping for no binding with the bigger tires in 4WD. If the bigger tires work out, may get bigger turf tires too. Will see how the 1880 handles with higher setup when using the bucket and attachments.
