Front 3-point hitch for loader quick attach

That's exactly what I'm envisioning, GRTkub. Just a blade on the front instead of a rake. I understand the concerns of shocking or bending the loader arms, but I think in float mode and with the blade tipped forward, anything it strikes is going force the blade upwards, which it will be able...

    How to get faster heat?

Fine, I'll try it. The real problem here is the tractor's coolant. It takes forever for the coolant temp gauge to come off the cold stop, and it doesn't come up much. Even after plowing for an hour, it won't be at half way. You guys getting lots of heat, how are you controlling the throttle...

    How to get faster heat?

The tractor HVAC system is extremely similar to a car or truck HVAC system. You can have recirculated air with or without A/C, just like in a car.

    How to get faster heat?

Keep in mind, eventually the tractor does put out enough heat to make me turn it down or off. But it takes quite awhile.

    How to get faster heat?

I plan to use the tractor when I get home tonight. The temp is currently 15F so it will be a few degrees colder later. I'll time how long it takes for the temp gauge to come up, for heat to start coming out, etc. I'll try to take some pics of the dash so you guys can see the clock and temp...

    How to get faster heat?

I really loved the L2501 - I'd buy another. I just needed a cab tractor and couldn't afford to keep the L2501 in addition to the 4060.

    How to get faster heat?

Hey Tornado, as you know I had an L2501 that got traded in part for this tractor I have now. Mine never got to 50% either under normal conditions. Nor did my L4310 or my B2920. They always stayed in the range you mention. This is normal. While mowing in a filed with a lot of grass pollen and...

    How to get faster heat?

Just a blank where the switch for rear defrost would be if my tractor was so equipped...

    How to get faster heat?

I'll see if such a fuse exists, but there is no switch to turn on. Maybe it automatically turns on when heat is selected and the fan switch is turned on. Here's a picture of my climate controls:

    How to get faster heat?

Not sure what you mean. From what I can see, the engine's water pump pushes coolant in a feed and return line through a heater core in the roof of the tractor.

    How to get faster heat?

Going to get the block heater, and I also picked up one of those cheap 12v "heated seat" pads that strap on top of the seat. It was $30 on sale for $13 and heats the bottom and back; the 12v plug conveniently connects to the outlet in the tractor. This should help make it a little less cold...

    Road travel???

You won't have any problems, especially that short of a distance.

Front 3-point hitch for loader quick attach

With the blade tilted forward and the loader valve in float, wouldn't the blade also pop up if it hit something? That was my logic.

    L3560 limited vs l4060

You guys did a good job with those grooves... So far, my standard loaded R4 tires seem to provide good traction while plowing. Didn't even use 4x4 for a bunch of it.

Front 3-point hitch for loader quick attach

I did give that some thought, NIW. My feeling was to use the loader curl function to have the blade with the top edge tipped forward a little, and leave the loader on float position, and go fairly slow. Frankly, there's no trip when plowing (or grading) with the blade behind you either, even...

    L3560 limited vs l4060

I "optimize" the situation first, lol. 1.) Tilt the steering wheel all the way forward 2.) Lock the loader controls using the lock lever 3.) Turn around inside and back out down the step, opposite of entering the cab Once you do it a few times, its no big deal.

    L3560 limited vs l4060

Yes, very small. Never played football though, always a basketball player. Still do play twice a week in a men's league. That said, there is plenty of room in the cab for me and you can indeed enter and exit from the right which is nice compared to most Deere competition.

Front 3-point hitch for loader quick attach

Thanks a lot. I'm an idiot - I bought a 3-point hitch quick hitch from Titan and found it wouldn't work with my flail mower, so I've never used it. I think I could just by the $98 quick-attach weld plate, and weld the quick hitch to it...problem solved. However, I wouldn't have thought of it...

    L3560 limited vs l4060

Just like rjcorazza, I bought the 4060 because of the engine itself rather than the horsepower difference. The L3560HSTC-LE and the L3560HSTC use a 3-cylinder engine. L4060 and up use a 4-cylinder engine. And as was said, it is the same engine as the higher models, just without the...

Front 3-point hitch for loader quick attach

Hi, Does anyone make something that will do the following? I want to use a 3-point implement (6-foot grader blade) on the front of my tractor and connect it using the quick attach my tractor has. Does someone make an adapter that will allow me to mount and implement like this to the front...
