    Trying to understand specs

I don't "need" anything. This tractor is a toy. It's not for work, I'm not on a farm. I'm just a guy who spends all his money on a tractor instead of a camper or a boat. So I would get an MX if I could. Why? Same reasons the other guy would buy a bigger boat if he had access to a bigger lake and...

    Trying to understand specs

I'm currently thinking about getting a bigger tractor and I'm trying to understand the specs. I'm looking at lx2610, and l3902. I know they're very different but it's just to understand. First thing I see is that the 3902 is much heavier. So to me it means the tractor is more stable when...

    Sorting my rocks collection

Is there anything more relaxing than this? After a week of work (desk job), I sit on the backhoe and sort rocks.

    Redoing the driveway

Only box. I have a hydraulic top-link so it's even easier. I went from the street to the garage with the box tilted down, to scrape. Then the final pass was from the garage to the street tilted up. This way, I have a good slope. I have a laser to check the grade, so I'll double check with that...

    Redoing the driveway

Another successful project completed. 3 loads was too much. But I had another place I decided to "pave" so no leftovers except for that small pile that I'm gonna use for touch-ups. Now I have to get a roller. Next month ...

Part does not have a part number

Now that I know what to call them, they should be easier to find :)

Part does not have a part number

Yes! I was looking at the hole labeled "D" on the bottom and knew it went there. Didn't see that part above. Thanks!

Part does not have a part number

No, it's not #210. On that drawing, it's the pin with the line going to the figure number. So still unidentified :(

Part does not have a part number

I broke a grease fitting in one of the pivot pins on my loader (LA435). So I guess I need to replace the pin. Problem is I can't find the part number. The diagram doesn't list a part number. Anyone can help me identify this? part circled in red.

    Redoing the driveway

I am planning on rolling it. There's a rental shop close by and they have those big rollers just for that. Not sure how that costs yet And I do have a good amount of left-over gravel. I have another project for it. I made 2 piles: 1 for clean gravel and the other one that's just crap. The box...

    Redoing the driveway

New project starting today I was tired of blowing gravel all over the place in winter so i'm going with recycled asphalt. I borrowed a box scraper from a guy nearby. It's my first time using one of those. The plan is to scrape it all, move it in a pile in the backyard. Then I'll get about...

    488cad for spacers?

Thanks. That worked. I took off 2 cross links. It loosened up a bit after rolling with them. I guess I can fix that with a bungee. The good news is that I didn't need spacers!

    488cad for spacers?

The backside is also very loose. I'm not sure if it's me doing it wrong, or if the chain size is off. Any tips for identifying who's fault it is? I'm hoping it's me, I don't wanna have to wait longer to order new chains. Or maybe I'm expected to cut them?

    488cad for spacers?

I got the chains yesterday. The box says 12-16.5 on it but this is very loose. Am I doing something wrong? I don't understand how I should be thightening this more

    488cad for spacers?

Hey thanks for that. I was trying to find a part number but that website lists things by tractor models. Definitely easier. So the prices are similar to what the dealer charges then. I guess it's fair.

    488cad for spacers?

No, not yet. I figured I'd ask here if the price is fair first before doing that kind of leg work. I'm still hopping it won't be required.

    488cad for spacers?

I ordered chains for my rear wheels on my b2601. I was quoted 420$ CAD for the chains. Pretty good I think since it's about half of what canadachains.ca wants. I'm still waiting for the dealer to receive them. I'm not sure I'll need spacers but I decided to add some in my order just to make...
