    BH70 lever broke

So this could be avoided with regular inspections then. Kinda weird it got loose. Maybe some threadlocker too?

    BH70 lever broke

I'm surprised this thing broke. We all have the habit of pulling harder on the lever to get more power out of the machine, even if we all know it makes no sense. But to the point of shearing the bolt? I didn't know this was possible. It happened while digging out a stump. I was almost there. I...

Can someone post pics of SSQA converted bucket?

That video seems to show a factory made bucket. I'm looking for a picture of a converted bucket using a weld-on plate

Can someone post pics of SSQA converted bucket?

I'd like to see what it looks like, specifically on a B2601 or any other 54" bucket. The weld-on plate looks bigger than the bucket and it seems like it would stand out higher than the top of the bucket. Also, I'm not sure how high it should be welded. A few pictures could help me figure out...

    SSQA compatibility

Will a ssqa bucket / fork / blade or other fit on any tractor equiped with a ssqa? For example, the same forks could be used on a b2601, L25, LX26 .... I guess that's the whole point of having SSQA. Obviously sharing buckets on a b2601 and L01 wouldn't make much sense, but will it work?

    Trying to understand specs

That is exactly the kind of post I was hoping to see BEFORE I has to let go of the idea to upgrade because of the price difference. 😂. It's nice to see them side by side. The difference is real.

    Trying to understand specs

Well, I'm pulling the plug on this. Just got a quote for the tradein and it would cost more than 25k. That's 10k more that what I expected. So I'm keeping the b2601 but will be buying more toys for it. Will have to resort to renting equipment for atuborn stumps.

    Trying to understand specs

Correct, thank you. I actually knew that (honest! :) ) I guess what I meant is: is it correct to say that 25hp is more than enough to exerce a pressure of 2205 psi at a rate of 5.15GPM? Even a 10 HP engine would be able to achieve this. The force of the backhoe is determined by the pressure, but...

Not arguing. Asking for clarifications ao I understand the answer. My question was more along the way of "this is how I think it works, I know I'm wrong, please help me understand why"

    Trying to understand specs

Yes but pressure is a force, and force is HP in the end. A lawnmower engine wouldn't provide the power needed for that hydro pump. Right?

    Trying to understand specs

Can someone confirm this logic please: So the hydro pump for the L2502 seems to be spec'd at 5.15 GPM @ 2205 PSI. If my maths are good, this is equal to 6.61HP. So this would explain why backhoe strenght would not change bweteen a 39HP or 25HP. Because the hydro only needs 6.61HP anyway ...

    Trying to understand specs

I think most people here understood this already but just to be clear: I'm not getting a new tractor to accomplish work, I'm creating work so I can buy a new tractor :) I have a vacant lot that I wanna start clearing out. I want to buy a bigger tractor to get the pleasure to do it myself. It...

The way I understand it, the lx would be higher apecs in terms of features (like mid-pto, console etc.. ) but the L is less fancy but is more of an industrial machine that packs a punch. You don't have a fancy feet carpet but you get heavy steel. At least that's the way I understand the...

    Trying to understand specs

This actually a very good point. Speculative, but valid. @rc51stierhoff: so in your opinion, is the move from b2601 to l2502 significant enough in terms of the BH? The tractor is much heavier, the backhoe is more powerful, it has it's own seat, swivels 180 degrees. It sounds like a legit...

    Trying to understand specs

I went to the dealer today and got a quote for an L2501. He basically said what you guys are saying, that more HP wont change much for the backhoe. So now I just need to see how much I would get for the teade-in

alright. Tell me more about the Regen. I heard a lot of things about it but I'm not sure I understand. Why do people wanna avoid it as much as they can? Is it because it's something more than can break?
