Well i am no expert but i had some stump digging experience today. Was using my forks slid close together. Kind of a test to see if i was interested in a stump bucket. One think i noticed right off was that the forks would hit a root and slide off to the side. So the lesson i learned today was...
I would think you could use the pto anytime. But to follow the instructions in the manual you could not operate at full throttle for 50 hours. So depending on the needs of the device attached to the pto would determine if it was a good idea to use the device. I would think that the chipper...
So not seeing it in real life means so much to wonder about.
First thought. Stop the water from getting to the house or under it. French drain down to BELOW the water level. All four sides of the home if needed. Sump pump if really needed could be set up or at least prep for a sump pumb in...
Not sure on the B2601 with front end loader length. I can suggest that although its a bit of a pain the trailor tongue can be lowered all the way to the floor using the tractor FEL or a floor jack. This of course depends on the type of jack on your trailor, the type that pivots sideways and...
Concrete blocks break very easy believe it or not. Do not use them for blocking up the Trailor in any form or fashion

Very nice looking set up.
Water proofing the lumber is a good idea.
A extended time of shade and a covering of leafs and moisture is hard on the paint, lumber and the iron. Some wind moving across it is good. Be careful with tarping the whole thing.
If your using straps for tie downs remember...
Nice looking outfit. I do have a question on your trailor. Top pic, just in front of the fender. What is the attachment by the rub rail ? Perhaps it has a yellow sticker on it. A pivoting step or what ?
Hmm this may not be the best idea but what happens if you reverse the hoses on #3 when you plug em in. Does that keep the handles from conflict ? Might take a bit of getting used to but perhaps it work out.
Yes the gooseneck style is way better. Its very unusual to have bumper weight issues or sway issues with a gooseneck trailor. You still need to load them correctly but they are more forgiving. The gooseneck also allows you to back into areas that would be nearly impossible with a bumper hitch...
I would also see many advantages with a pre tier 4 unit. For most of us a new such unit is not available. I bought a grand L3560 HST about 2 months ago and 102 hours or so as of today. About half using brush hog, about a quarter box blade and front end work. About a quarter of the hours with...
I read on another section of the site and so I will repost what I read, hope it's ok D2cat, but it was such a good one :)
