    Tiller or disc harrow

I would pick the disk harrow, why? When I used a tiller in my garden I found it turned my soil to powder thus making it fluffy looking and rain would not soak in well but would run off. Unless it was a down pour or we got a good soaking rain. Maybe this would not be the case for all soil...

    What's cookin' boys?

I felt the same for years then...….. The above does have some stems left but usually I cut them all out. Place kale in a pan, sprinkle salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and drizzle avocado oil on it and cook for a few minutes. I love it but I can understand someone not liking it. I do eat it...

    ASAP NEED HELP MOWING!!

Can you safely burn it once it turns brown? Disk the perimeter and divide it into sections so you burn sections at the time to keep it small.

Where is full in HST dipstick?

It has not removed the ink as of yet, some been on for years, should it I'll remark them. I also have cut a small groove in the dipstick at the high mark. Edit: Just saw using the file by Henro yep that works as well he beat me to it.

Where is full in HST dipstick?

I took a black sharpie and marked full on my dip sticks on most all my stuff. I would mark the low mark as well if it had one.

Why is the toughest bolt to get to always the toughest to crack?

I can relate, changing the oil in my truck and when I went to get from under it my hat hit the skid plate and swimming it went. Not just a hat but one of my favorite Kubota hats.

    Pallet Forks Recommendation

Nice idea, what I usually need extra length is for brush nothing heavy. I have some pvc pipe I could slide over the forks and secure when needed. Thanks again for the idea.

    Pallet Forks Recommendation

I bought the QA frame from Titan and picked up a set of 36" forks for free that came off of a old fork lift at work. I had $220.00 in my setup. If I had been buying it all knowing what I know now would get the longer forks, the 48" at least would serve me better. I use them to haul a lot of...

    Broadcast Seeder?

Guy that hunts with me bought a spreader to go on his utv, to spread seed with. He elected to mount it on the front as opposed to the rear so he could see the seed as it was being thrown out. Actually yesterday we planted our food plots using oats. The spreader has no agitator, which is far...

    Land pride box blade

I purchased the Woods land plane before I knew about EA. After 2 years the paint started coming off in sheets! I contacted them and had pictures to provide. Response was we can't help you the warranty is one year. I ask could they at least send me one rattle can and I would buy the primer and...

    A Bit of R&R

Nice and some fine eating. I live about 2 hours from Surf City on the NC coast, enjoy the fall fishing there. Only problem is I enjoy bow hunting as well so I have to divide the time and usually deer hunting gets the majority of my free time.

    Shank Repairs

Food for thought.... EA Attachments now sales a solid shank made of hardox so what you would be doing is really no different than what they offer.

Twisted quick attach rod, how to fix?

Could you take a grinder and remove off enough material on the fork QA plate all the way across to allow it to lock in place? I say all the way across because on mine I have wiggle room a little right or left is fine when lining up to attach. Maybe when the piece was welded to the QA on the...

Need grease gun - new L2501 owner

If you have a preference on brand and have cordless tools and chargers look into a battery operated grease gun. I had 20v Dewalt batteries so I go the Dewalt grease gun. Cost was about $120 for the bare tool only. I have 21 fittings on my tractor with loader, the battery operated gun makes it...

Is this fine for an L2501 Oil Change?

Well said, lived in NC all my life still on the family farm not far from Benson and yes indeed not much snow and you are right usually gone in a day or 2.

    What tools?

I have the basics in my tool box as mentioned above. Keep plenty of pins and clips, mine just seem to disappear.... I have a plastic container that I keep various hitch clip pins and hair pins in. Amazon sales various assortments for pretty cheap. I also carry my battery operated blower with...

    4wd

I find going into 4wd is easy but disengaging is a little more difficult. I find that if I stop completely, pull up on the lever with the tractor in reverse and ease out on the clutch it disengages every time. Mine is older and a different model but I'm guessing a similar approach wil lprove...

Adding a 20” bar and ball to my three point hitch

I use the draw bar on my 3 point quiet often to move trailers around, they are a beautiful thing and easy on the back when hooking up. With that said, it is only around the farm and only flat ground. Backing the trailer under the barn, moving the equipment trailer so I can land plane the...

Is this fine for an L2501 Oil Change?

I run the T6 in mine and have been since I purchased it in 2014. As mentioned above, maybe consider going with the T6 as it is full synthetic. Best of luck.
