    Plasma Cutter

I have had this unit for about six months. I have used it a half a dozen times and cut 10 gauge - 3/8". So far I am pleased with the performance. Cutmaster 40

    Correct blades for a ZD21 ... totally confused ....

FWIW, I have used Oregon blades on my ZD323 60" deck and the blades thickness is thinner than OEM blades. I have to use a large thick washer to get the clamping force needed to get the blades to work. Take a look at rotary brand blades if OEM blades are not available. I will add a link to the...

    Engine damage from topping off?

Only top off issue I have (Diesel tractor, mower, car, truck) is when topped off cold weather and then it warms up and fuel expands and leaks a little from the vent.

Hard to align front hitch blade to load attachment when very hard to see it.

I have to lean out to the left to get lined up (sight over the left front tire) and then push a little on what I am connecting. Long hood makes it tough to see the attachment point and seat safety makes it impossible to raise up to see over the hood.

    Quick attach carnage

JMO, the grapple is wider and will push branches back away from handles. I can see the grapple better from the seat than I can see the ends of the forks. Final answer, I have not damaged the tractor using the grapple and I have damaged the tractor using the forks to remove brush and logs.

    Quick attach carnage

I was using my forks to move some small logs around to my wood splitter log pile. I had to push some branches etc. out of the way to get to the logs. Somehow the right side of the forks disconnected from the quick attach plate. This then placed all of the weight and leverage on the left side of...

How do you tie/secure your tractor to trailer / front or backwards with canopy?

I have a fiberglass canopy, If I load backward I place way too much weight on the tongue and lose the stability provided by the trailer axles spring packs. To get better balance backward I would have to remove the FEL. I called the canopy manufacturer and they said they have never had a canopy...

    Hydraulic hose leak

I would use brake cleaner and get everything as clean as possible and then run it at low RPMs and look again for the leak. The air coming off of the fan has a way of making oil go everywhere and may hide the true source of the leak. The fan itself looks like oil has leaked ahead of the radiator...

    Tipping over

Load rear tires and have the tire guy put the rears in the widest configuration. Loading will add several hundred pounds of ballast per tire. I purchased this and have it loaded with gravel. It added several hundred additional pounds of ballast weight.

Mx6000…is it too big for what I want to do?

Turbochargers are a great way to wring additional power out of an engine if needed. This is where the JMO part comes in. The way that I use my tractor, the l4760 with that displacement engine does not need a turbocharger. The hydrostatic plus drive and additional features like high range, and...

Mx6000…is it too big for what I want to do?

JMO, I also like the fact that it does not have a turbocharger. Same block and displacement as the bigger L60 series.

    L4701 Trailer

My L4760 on a 20' 10k rated trailer. I have room left over for implements. Make sure you get brakes on both axles, lots of trailers out with only one set of brakes. Also look at ramps or jacks that support the rear of the trailer when loading. The weight of the tractor being loaded can pick up...

Mx6000…is it too big for what I want to do?

I have an open station L4760 that I use in the woods. I purchased the 4760 to get the loader capacity and hydraulic flow of the L6060 but in a smaller size machine. I am in the process of widening our trails that were built for ATV's. The loader is very strong and my 64" grapple really works...

    L6060 M9960 LED Lamps

I installed these a year ago when I purchased my tractor. Every bulb including worklights are L.E.D. When doing headlights and side headlights. Remove the entire light housing from tractor (I think it is three bolts per housing). On the bulbs for side headlights bend the wire contact out a...

Cell phone mount for open station tractor

I have Two of these mounts, One on my L4760 and the other on my ZD323. I would guess I have at least 100hrs of use and have had no problems with the mounts and the grip they provide on my phone. To mount the ball base, I used double sided automotive trim tape on the ZD and for the tractor I...
