    we love our Titan forks, we got the UA made in USA ones. Get light weight ones for a BX, and get ones with adjustable forks

    Trailer weight

    I would not tow a 5k excavator with a half ton truck. We do tow our L3901 on a 20 foot 10k tandem trailer with our Tundra all the time but still use caution, run 65 mph or under, leave gap. With loaded tires, bucket and mower its probably close to 5k?

    The manual is not "wrong", but it is the bare minimum of maintenance. There are a dozen threads here on this question- usually people not wanting to spend $100 on new SUDT fluid or a $20 filter at 50 hours after spending $40,000 on a new tractor- pound foolish. The real world experts here...

    Land Pride QH 15 is the one you want. Harbor Freight is low end, you get what you pay for with attachments

    L3901 grill guard

    Our neighbor offered to make one from some expanded metal mesh he had left over from making a forestry cage for a log skidder. Very heavy mesh. It is one piece, open at the bottom so it can tilt forward. Free is good!
