    2015 l3901 tlb

Re: 2015 l3900 tlb that is a very good deal. backhoe is one of those things you will either use a lot, or realize it was easier to just hire it out. Around here there are a lot of idle backhoes looking for cheap work at $50 an hour no minimum. We calculated we would have to use one over 100...

I to am new to Kubota.

You made a great choice! I suggest having the dealer add a Quick Attach for the front bucket so you can easily use any skid steer attachments like pallet forks

    advise on bush hog

if you are just mowing high grass and not any saplings, one of the light duty brands at under $1,000 with a simple shear pin will do fine. If not, go for a Bush Hog, Land Pride or Woods heavier duty with a slip clutch at the $1,000 + range. We run a Land Pride 1860 and it is a stout unit. We...

"Won't be paying somebody $400.00 plus a pop.....if they show." That was exactly our experience- no shows, or leave half done and come back a week later

New L3901 leaking UDT at Front Wheel Drive Case

Thanks Russell, very helpful. Its fixed for now by using a punch to bend the retainer ring back down around the shaft with lots of small dimples around it. Not leaking. But to do it right is a dealer chore. The bolt for the retainer ring is not accessible without removing the lever from the...

New L3901 leaking UDT at Front Wheel Drive Case

Our new L3901 began dripping UDT fluid from the front wheel drive case at 10 hours. Its now at 20 hours and dripping more. Drips faster when the tractor is hot then eventually slows to almost nothing. Not a stream or spray, just a drip. I got my son to crawl under there and find it. It is...

    New Owner

Inability to get anyone to do the work and show up when they said they would were big factors in just getting a better tractor to do it ourselves. Too much free welfare has sapped a lot of the work ethic out

3301 vs 3350 vs 3901? whats the real diff.

I don't agree that you should "buy as much tractor as you can afford". What you can afford is a secondary or lower consideration. Getting what you need is much more important than over spending. We can afford a Grand L, MX or larger M but don't need that. We have a lot of hilly woods so can't...

Brand new L4701 lost oil plug and run dry

As the dealer will point out, the engine is fine. You only lost one oil plug, so there is still oil in the engine. The low oil light is designed to shut it down before any damage. You only ran it a few feet before shutdown, so no seizure. Diesel fuel is oily to provide engine lubrication as...

    L2501 Review

The size of the L2501 is perfect. You made a great choice, and no one ever goes wrong buying a Kubota. People can easily get into a size and horsepower race and end up with a too big machine. We started with the L2501 DT and within a year sold it and bought an L3901 HST. For our needs, we needed...

    Land Pride quick hitch?

We have the Land Pride QH 15 quick hitch. Worth every penny. We have had the Harbor Freight one and Speedco (?) before and they both were flimsy and cheap. I am 5'4" and just not strong enough to change the implements solo but the QH makes it a breeze.
