For what it’s worth, and I have posted this before. On my B2601 with BH, the seat switch is a 3 position switch. Driver present and seated, driver not present, and seat popped up, allowing use of the rear pto for items like wood chippers.

The above doesn’t seem to fall into my suggestion, however I will offer my 2 cents as I had an issue with my 2601 when brand new…just in case this helps. The seat mechanism and OPC switches needed to be changed when I ordered the backhoe. (the seat needs to rotate from forward to reverse)...
