Is that a dipstick/cover for the transmission? Yellow typically means something that that you need to check regularly such as engine oil, coolant, etc.

I'm sorry that's confusing, we just stuck a cap on it to keep trash etc out. Additionally, I don't think this is a 4wd tractor.

It's not uncommon for Kubota to have more than one fill port for the hydraulics, but this does not look like that.
I'm pretty sure it's nothing.
It looks to be where the High / low lever would go if it was a M7950-Cab version.
Pull the added cap and take a picture down the pipe.

That really looks like it’s a dipstick for the hydraulic oil… i have one there, in addition to the fill in the back. Take off the cap, slide a stick down it and check. If it comes out with hydraulic fluid, get a new dipstick! You don’t want “Stuff” falling into it..
