    Roundabouts

That's why they are sometimes referred to as drift tracks. With even the slightest amount of moisture on the road, the miata can quietly drift in peace until the next vehicle arrives ;)

    New Tractor 5 acres

It's never a toy. It's either a tool or a toyl, never a toy. That's my story and I'm sticking to it ;)

    New Tractor 5 acres

Your land is pretty level, so I don't see any log skidding needed. Just cut to whatever length you need, throw them on pallet forks and haul to where you need. It doesn't look dense enough to prevent driving around in the woods. If a spot is too dense, throw a chain on the log and drag it to...

    New Tractor 5 acres

From what I see based on what you've posted, I'd suggest taking a close look at the LX 2610. I went with the B2650 (basically the same thing only older version) with the backhoe. Ergonomics for me were better than the L series, size wise slightly larger than the smaller B. It does have a...

    Roundabouts

If you want to learn to 'drag a knee' on your motorcycle, a 2 am practice session on your local round-a-bout is the way to go. Gotta make sure there aren't any cops or traffic around when you practice getting that right knee down though ;)

Gun haters have a new problem

I'm afraid they will figure out that they can't keep guns out the hands of criminals no matter how many laws are passed, then they will go after controlling/stopping ammo production. That'll stop em. Those pesky criminals wouldn't dare make their own illegal ammo.

Talk me out of buying a Woodmax WM8H

That looks like a tiny burn pile to me, but my burn spot is much more open that yours so I don't have to worry about stressing near by trees. If you had a more open spot you could just burn and make the CEO happy. If you don't have a more open spot, maybe you can convince the CEO to put the...

Please allow me to introduce myself....

Welcome to OTT and have fun with that 2501. Lots of motorcycle fans on here. I don't race but I was a track day junkie for awhile until too many injuries slowed me down. I don't recognize that track in your avitar, where is that?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Sounds like you should have an epi-pen or two in several places on your property. Open airways are one of those things we tend to take for granted.

    High Use or Professional Chainsaws

I have a smaller Husky, but I almost always use my 562 xp with 20" bar. Best, fasting cutting saw I've had.

    Who has a Drone? Why?

I just have a quad-copter for play. I used it to scare off the Canadian geese. It worked a few times, but now it just annoys them, but not enough to make them leave :cautious:

    Split Brakes

I've never unlinked my pedals, never needed to. The B already has a pretty tight turn radius for it's size. If I mowed with it I would use it for tight turns around trees, but the zt does all my mowing.

Gas Additives - What's your favorite snake oil..?

I use Stabil for any gas that might sit for awhile (boat, mower, jeep, spare jug) but no other additives. I only get cornless and never have problems.

    Who has a Drone? Why?

My wife is a teacher and drones on and on about the problems with admin and parents and such. I wouldn't call it fun, and it really has no purpose other than for her to have a chance to vent. I really don't find the droning useful for anything else. Not worth the money ;)

    Had a flat!!!

Yeah, I was just being snarky. The air is free, the cost is in the hassle of not knowing if it will be flat or not next time you need it. BX fronts can be frustrating. I just assume that when I go to use my dad's BX25 the fronts will be low and I bring air. If they are good when I show up...

Do you keep area just for kids?

My whole place is for kids. As is happens, I'm the kid, and the Kubota is one of my toys ;) My wife is not so amused at times.

Not directly tractor related, but right to repair

I work on my own stuff because I enjoy it, I use the money saved as an excuse to buy more tools, and I know it's done right. Back in the dark ages I worked after school and summers at a full service station, mostly pumping gas. I couldn't tell you how many times I'd offer to check the oil and...

I wasn't sure if this should go under equipment operating or off topic

That seems like a waste of ammo. 2 thru the face is very efficient ;)

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Ugh. Went to mow my dad's lawn. I used my Ferris while my brother used dad's BX. I brought fuel but my brother said it was already full so he put the can back in my truck bed. The BX ran for about 2 minutes then didn't. Would crank but not start. Fuel gauge said full. Hmm, last time I...
