is a Subsoiler the right tool for this job?

Agree 100%, I have done this in a few areas that used to stay mucky until mid summer. Now the rain just flows and drains. Much nicer to cut in the spring without burying the zero turn.

Looking to trade my new R1s for R4s (L2501)

I believe R4s are going to require different rims as well. Much wider than the R1 ag tires.

No one ever warned me about this side effect of buying a boat!

I agree, love the Kubota but love the boat a bit more!

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I am still using my old "Horse" Troy Built tiller. It is a bit newer than the ones you guys have, I purchased it in 1989. It has the industrial Briggs 7hp engine with electric start but I have not had a battery on it in 30 years as it starts on the first pull. I carried it down to the pond...

    Model, Age and operating hours

Picked up a second hand L3901 with just over 300 hours on the clock in 2019. Now have over 780 hours of good service out of ole "Miss K" as my wife calls her. ;)

    ZD-1211 Stalled on incline

I had issues with mine where it would stall when activating the PTO with a weak/faulty battery. Not enough power to activate the electric clutch and keep everything going. Replaced the battery and worked like a champ ever since. The only other item that comes to mind is the switch for the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I prefer to seed in the fall, but the ground was just soft enough to do it now. Once it gets hot that ground gets hard as a brick. I plan to reseed it in the fall as well as the rye will have run its course and then it should be good!

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thanks, I put some K31 fescue and some annual rye to come up quick before it washes out.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Worked on regrading the slope down to one of the small ponds. Years of cattle heading down to get water made ruts and bumps 2' to 3' deep. A real pain to cut the trim with a brush cutter as you could not get much stable footing. Well I took several buckets out and used that to fill old stump...

    Need stickers for Regen Buttons

I have not used the buttons at all on mine and cannot read the icons on mine either as they are worn off. I just raise my RPM's and let it Regen when it comes up and continue operating the tractor which seems to run between 20 and 60 hrs depending on how I am using it.

    T2290 - attachments?

Agri Fab makes some decent attachments. I have one of the larger spreaders I use for seed, fertilizer and pelletized lime on the lawn. I pull it with the zero turn or the lawn tractor.

    L3901 Red flags or not?

I purchased my 3901 used with about 300 hrs on it and could not be happier. In late 2018 I paid close to what they are asking for this one the only exception was mine had a box blade and a few other goodies to go with it. Mine had only minor scratches and the previous owner explained that the...

    Daily Chuckle

Ahh brings back a funny one. Years ago I was working as an electrician in a power plant and we would break for lunch in a trailer that had tables lined up from one end to the other. There was always a lot of banter and smack talk for the 30 minutes we were choking down food. One of the days a...

    Brush Hog

Check out the link below. I would keep it to 5' or less for your L2500. I have a 5' Landpride mower on my L3901 and it can put quite a load on the tractor if what you are cutting is thick and you have any hills to deal with. 03-standard-l-series-lp-implements

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Another day clearing up the old fence lines on the property. Loaded all up and to the scrap yard for about $115 return but at least I did not have to pay to dump it. Approximately 1600lbs of old t-posts, woven wire, barbed wire and a rotted out old hay ring. The electromagnet on the boom of...

    Retirement

Congrats NCL, today was my first official day in retirement and I spent about 6 hrs of it on the Kubota clearing some old fence lines from the old farm. My new boss has a lot of small project lined up for me so no fear of running out of work anytime soon.
