Busted my brush hog on a rock. Discovered an alarming amount of UDT on the ground. Spilled diesel all over the hood. Got covered in Daddy-Long-Legs. Hopefully tomorrow will be better :D

Super. Thanks. It took me ages to find the fuel filter. Well hidden between the cab and the layers of dirt. I'm beginning to think all these filters are the same age as the tractor :eek: I better get a price on hydraulic fluid while I'm at it :eek:

I think I nearly have everything now. Waiting for the 2nd hydraulic filter to come from the land of the rising sun. Just one little doubt. The dealer says that the big oil filter on my tractor has been superceded by a much smaller one. If you could confirm this I would be ready to go next week. TIA

I don't know the amount, but I remember having to run a boat engine straight from the can after the diesel filter got sludged up. From that, I would say that you are not far off in your estimate. I know it was a lot more than we were using to keep the engine running.
