    Added Subwoofer

If you mean trunk rattle, yeah, the tool box in the back rattles a bit, but a piece of carpet in the bottom will fix that. It only does that because it is directly connected to that back plate where the sub is mounted. Othere than that, it just sounds like a normal car stereo, and no longer...

    Added Subwoofer

After spending an hour in the cab listening to 1930's era speakers I decided to look for a bass cannon, but they were too big, not what I had in mind. There are some small computer subwoofers that sound great, but would not work well for this. I did find something that was small enough to fit on...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Been too wet and raining to do much tractoring, so installed a subwoofer behind the seat to give it some bass and no sound like a 1930's radio broadcast. $160 total, perfect fit. Sounds so much better now, only thing I had to add the 3/4" plywood to raise it above the two bolts for the SMV...

    Hydraulics for boom arms

That 3 valve setup is what I am doing on mine. I pulled it out of the weeds yesterday, havent used it the past 2 years, COVID, and didn't realize how beat up it got over time. One end of the main boom is bent up, and a few fittings are sun aged and cracked. The pressure gauge is shot too. I may...

Still waiting on the 3rd function remote quick attach hydraulic kit. Ordered in September last year. No clue when it will arrive.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Discovered that hidden dips really go BANG with the new tractor when you run across them. Raked the fields to get the dead grass clumps out, and found a few areas I need to fill in. Also found a few branches that need to be trimmed so the cab clears them. Those pallet forks came in real...

    Hydraulics for boom arms

The arms is similar to this, I think hydraulics would be overkill since I can't seem to locate anything with like a 3/4" shaft. It's a home made sprayer, 60 gallon tank on a yard cart, made my own booms, and has worked well for at least a dozen years if not more. I just want to be able to...

    Hydraulics for boom arms

Well, I did some scrounging during lunch break in my garage for something else and discovered a pair of gas struts I forgot I had bought for a topper but never used because they were too long. They have 6" of travel and found 2 pair of brackets for them as well. I have a new thought, Set up...

    Hydraulics for boom arms

I have been contemplating putting remotes to raise and lower the arms on my home built sprayer with an 18' boom. It has 3 6' sections, the outer arms pivot off the center arm, and want to put hydraulics on now that I have remotes on the new tractor. I see on some equipment like tedders use thin...

    Toolbox ideas for L4060HST-C

I found some 3/4 by 1/8 strapping and made a support bracket, attached it to the remote bracket on the cab, and 2 10/24 bolts. No more bouncing. Next up, sprayer controls, going to go pick up a 3 valve system.

Quick hitch, stump grinder, and implement storage

I have an old Speeco, needs bushings, but I just use the slip on bushing sleeves, not the expensive ones. I removed the top hook and have a flip over top piece. At the time I bought it, not much was QH compatible. I make it work. For storage I do have a barn and what my next project it, I...

    Trailer advice

What I would do is put the cutter at the front of the trailer, then drive the tractor on up to it. Chain the cutter down, then drop the FEL on top and secure the tractor. Easier done if you have forks too.

    4060 LE with cab,

When I ordered my L4060 HSTC I checked with Woods to see if they have a subframe for the BH70-X that is on my B2410 and they do make one, just takes 6 months to get one. It also works for their current line of backhoes for these models. The subframe install takes about 4-6 hours to install, and...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Got a 50 gallon tank and set it up so it can be lifted into the truck to fill, and have a cart to set it on to move it around. Took longer to dump 5 gallons in from cans than it did to fill the 13 gallon tank on the tractor. Hitched up the SAYA505 and got it set up, just have to calibrate it...

    Toolbox ideas for L4060HST-C

Some pics I took. Check out those little plastic cans, perfect fit in the cab, just need some velcro to hold them in place.

    Toolbox ideas for L4060HST-C

I got a box mounted, but need a brace at the bottom as it wiggles too much. I first need to find out the thread size for those holes on the right above the remotes, perfect place to attach a brace.
