    BX backhoe subframe homebuilt

I can’t answer your question, but will be following this thread. I also have a BX 2200 and would like a backhoe. I know they require a special subframe to support the added stress/weight. I read that Kubota made a BX22 with a backhoe that had a subframe. If what I read was correct, the BX22 is...

    Camper demo time

Not here. Our spring was pretty dry, but then this summer we have been getting a bunch of rain. Enough that it is making it hard to find a good time to mow and low spots in my garden are suffering. Well, yeah just one match.......but I may have thrown a little gas on it and made a trail so I...

    Camper demo time

2 trips to the scrap yard and3 bonfires later we are about finished up. Inspected it some to see if the frame would be worth making a utility trailer out of. While it isn’t rusted out too bad the metal is very thin and weak. Easily bent and torn. Thinking I will just steal the axles from it to...

    BX2200 Issue Starting

I had an odd issue with my 30A fuse blowing at times on my BX2200. I found that the way my throttle cable and ignition switch were routed the cable would rub on the wiring. It eventually wore through the wire insulation and started causing issues. It is easy enough to check for. You can just...

    BX2200 BXpanded pressure tester issue

It does seem to have more lifting/curling force. I was able to do more with it when I was digging around and removing a large dead stump I had been working on. I was also able to move the pile of dirt I had to backfill the empty hole the stump created. It was also easier to demo the old...

    Camper demo time

I might. I already have the utility trailer in the pics. It was an old Shasta camper. I will have to see what the condition of the frame is. I have a feeling it isn’t in great shape. A few years ago the frame rusted through where one end of the axle spring attached. I had to fab up a large U...

    Camper demo time

I have an old Dutchman camper that I am disposing of. Lots of leaks and rotted floors, so not worth saving or selling. We finished pulling the metal off the inside and outside yesterday morning, so then it was demolition time. Enter the Kubota. Started with this I was able to break the walls...

BX2200 RH Rear link bent. Clip broke

Hi, The right hand link bar for the MMM on my BX2200 got bent. This caused extra strain on the metal clip that is attached to it where the spring pin goes through and the clip broke off the arm. I posted in the WTB section since I would prefer not to spend the $275 for a new one. I have also...

Need RH Rear Link for MMM. BX2200

Hi all, My right hand rear link for my MMM on my BX2200 got bent recently. This caused it to twist and put extra strain on the clip at the end where the spring pin connects it to the mower. Due to the added stress the metal clip broke off the rear link arm. Getting a new arm is about $275, so I...

What do you do with the trails you maintain?

I have some trails around my 5 acres. It is old farmland that is grown up. No woods. I roll them in the spring to try and make them smoother for the kids on their 4 wheeler. Past that I just keep them mowed and remove any big rocks that come up.

Adding Loader hydraulics ( wet lines ) to a BX tractor that didn't come from the factory with them.

This where I go for diagrams and part numbers. I have a BX2200 with a FEL, but I forget which model. I have 3 hydraulic lines coming off of it that hook to the 3 on my tractor. https://www.kubotausa.com/parts

    Loader joystick

I remember a thread about this exact thing not too long ago. I think a number of people said they have done it.

    Removing the FEL

I have made that mistake. Talk about a pain in the butt to re-attach!!!

    Removing the FEL

Can you post a picture of what you are looking at? By stand feet are you talking about the legs you put down that hold the FEL up while not attached to the tractor?

    Fun Father’s Day project

Thanks.Bought it and moved in a year ago October. Past owners hadn’t done anything for quite some time, so there is never a shortage of projects. The help is great. Always good to have some young backs around to lend a hand.

    Fun Father’s Day project

So I have a good size stump in my back yard that I had been working on some. A fellow forum member suggested using my pressure washer and turbo tip to expose the roots and help get is out. Well today my 3 boys and I got after it. They power washed and I continued to dig down around it. Ended up...

    Auger For BX?

I have found this to be true for a lot of attachments I use. I can rent a 3pt tiller for $85 from a local farm store, or I can buy one for $1000-2000. I only till for a day a couple times a year, so I just cant justify the expense of buying one. Figure buying a carry all, box scraper and tooth...

    Auger For BX?

Everything Attachments has one specifically for the Sub compact/BX tractor that is designed to address the lack of lift height etc. They have a video explaining their development of it too. https://www.everythingattachments.com/Land-Shark-Subcompact-Tractor-Post-Hole-Digger-p/ls-phd-100.htm
