    What to do?

I’m a bit late to this discussion. I think you ought to get a new tractor if you want one and the finances are available for that purpose. I have a bad habit of keeping the old stuff when I buy a new one. My kids won’t thank me later. For US federal taxes, if your current tractor is a farm...

    Where is my lost stuff?

Raw talent! I had a five gallon gas can disappear about a decade ago. It was in the lean to with four others, a quarter mile up the gravel driveway right next to the house. Gone I tell ya! Never saw it again. Can’t imagine someone came up the drive, dug around and only took that. Especially...

    Where is my lost stuff?

You sure they’re not with the other unmatched sock? If you find a set of Toyota keys, please let me know. Thanks.

    Joystick button issue

Sounds like the solenoid is gummed up. Might just check the joy stick button with a multi meter to make sure it’s actually sending the signal.

    Greasing your machine....The hate/hate relationship.

Pretty much the same as others rags initially followed by Simple Green and a rag. Try not to get the SG on the components that are intended to have grease on them. BTW, the machine looks spiffy all cleaned up.

    Considering a BX1880

I think I recognize that party hoe. Kind of a sloppy mess when it gets tore up IIRC.

    Tee Post Driver for BX2370

Well, that is a way to do it.. Not sure a chain and 1.5 ft of slop would be my first choice. But it did work.

    Tee Post Driver for BX2370

That’s a pretty neat T post driver. A bit spendy. Looks like it has a hydro motor that lifts the ram and compresses a spring which releases imparting 40 ft-lbs of energy with each blow. Specs say at 15 gpm it will do 6 blows per second and slower with lessor flow. That seems crazy fast to me...

    newbe spacer question

From here, that slope looks like there’s little reason not to go straight up and down. Maybe I’m just a little more mortal that that slope would cause me to want to sideshill. But evidently it’s working so far.

    newbe spacer question

Good. That’s self preservation kicking in. Side hilling that looks like it’s lead to a short life expectancy.

    Advantage of being suddenly single.

Sounds like a nice “shopping trip”. Enjoy!

    Considering a BX1880

Congrats to the OP in avoiding the “just a little bit bigger” trap that its easy to fall into with Kubota SCUT/CUTs. BX2680, B2601, LXwhatever, L2502. Each successive size is “just a little larger” than its predecessor. Next thing you know a big Grand L, MX or M is looking like the right size.

    Considering a BX1880

Congratulations. Sounds like a nice little set up. Unwritten rule (well it gets written, like herein) is you’re supposed to share a couple photos of the new machine. I wouldn’t worry about spacers if your old lawn tractor was up to it. If you do decide to, make sure you don’t have issues with...

Land Pride 58” or 66” Tiller for L2501!

Maybe your hunting club will spring for @Rdrcr ’s turbo kit for your L2501? That ought to give you enough PTO Hp for the larger tiller.

Brand new implement rust and bent

Ideally not. As the OP said, no damage was identifiable until uncreated. So neither LP nor the supplier intended this to be the case. If an operational concern, it would need to be addressed. If a minor cosmetic concern, hook it up and use it as intended. Or not. EA is still taking orders, right?

    Tee Post Driver for BX2370

Do you have an FEL with a 3rd function? If so you might be able to find a hydraulically driven T post driver. I like the push it with pallet forks idea if there’s no rocks. Regardless, having another person is going to make it much nicer or you’ll spend most of your time climbing on and off...

Brand new implement rust and bent

Too picky. Not uncommon for equipment to have a scratch or bump. As mentioned, just using as intended will scratch the finish. A very slightly bent tine is of no consequence. But if it’s worth the effort to you to see what your supplier will do for you, you can ask. But next time you order, you...

    Utv, Kei Truck or Other

It’s an observation, not a critique. I’d say the correct ratio for your usage is right around 1 mile per hour. Probably ought to run the engine while winching and take it easy hauling firewood. Land speed record runs are for mail runs, right ;).

Finally made a all steel grill for my 3600DT

Nice. So that replaces the stock grill for that machine? Looks pretty stout. I see there’s an FEL. Did it not come with a “bumper/sort of grill guard”? I was thinking that the FEL included that, at least until fairly recently.

Why is a gripple called a grapple?

For the same reason Hagrid points out the BX is a lawnmower, not suited for either a gripple or a grapple. Opinions may vary.
