    B2650 Oil change interval

Ho boy. This might go longer that the EA thread. Use good oil and either interval should help the tractor last longer than the owner. Oil is relatively cheap, so 100 hours probably isn’t going to cause any trouble. But 200 hours is fine too. I’d probably use an interval that results in an oil...

    Utv, Kei Truck or Other

Holy idle time Batman. 1.0 mph lifetime average with about 45 miles and hours per year. The yearly hours is on par with my L, but I think I move it a fair bit more. But when you need it, you need it. Kind of like a tractor.

    Mooring a houseboat

Good looking fab work. Quite a bit to mooring a boat long term.

3 pt hitch install after 9 years

So you need to be able to pull the horizontal pin out that passes through part 040. Then you need to install the pin labeled K115XX. Is that correct?

    What’s the fair value?

I’m going to ballpark it at about $12k, give or take. Trade in, a fair bit less. Retail value likely more than most on TractorHouse due to low hours and the plow. Most do come with the FEL and MMM.

3 pt hitch install after 9 years

Can you post a picture? Not sure which pin needs to slide where. But a clearance hole sounds reasonable.

Looks to be a good deal if you can get it. 😁

    Lx2610 tilt steering

Hum. I seem to recall a couple of folks posting about the same concern on here in the last year. IIRC, it was also for LX series tractors, but it “might” have been a B series. I think there was some sort of retrofit the dealer installed to address the issue. Search around a bit, you’ll probably...

    Whole Goods VS Parts

Interesting perspective. Right up this point, it seemed like a typical discussion with divergent view points, the sorts of which I’ve read on here dozens times. Just my 2 cents, but nothing looked to be ill intended or personal from here.

    Utv, Kei Truck or Other

I like the concept of that box. But it’s a bit small. I think 5’ wide, 5 or 6’ long and 1.5’ deep. So it’d be like a short bed pick up box and more to scale of an L series tractor. Just have to be sure not to unload the front end. Might have to keep the box 4 or 4.5’ long.

    Utv, Kei Truck or Other

I’ve got a Yamaha Grizzly, 700 4WD. Really similar to a Suzuki KingQuad 750, which I used in the past. I like both due to how the CVT works and isn’t slipping the belt the entire time the engine is running, like the Kawasaki, Polaris and CanAm units do. Just want to make sure there a low range...

The PTO does not stop Kubota M5112

So if there was an implement on it, would it turn it even with the PTO in the off position? If so, indeed that’s a concerning problem. I presume you changed the hydrostatic fluid? Did you use Super UDT2?

The PTO does not stop Kubota M5112

Your trouble shooting skills as well as your writing skills seem spot on to me. Will the PTO stop turning when it is off and there’s an implement hooked up to it (providing a bit of drag to it rotating)? If so, based on what you’ve described, I’d probably use it and see how it goes.

Front quick hitch on F Series

Someone’s idea of adjustability? Not enough meat to keep those holes from turning into a slot if used to any real extent.

    2013 M7040 value

So a shop queen? What are the hours in it? The front fenders and lack of wear on the bucket as well as looking newer made me guess snow removal. Presumably it did something.

    2013 M7040 value

Looks nice. Curious on hours and asking price. Looks like might have been used to clear snow? That bucket is pretty fresh looking.

    Open Discussion

As has been said here “Let me get back to you on that.” Rather than making up some BS and then actually getting back to the customer will put you head and shoulders above most salespeople. I expect you to know more about what you’re selling than I do, so read the brochures a dozen times so that...

Some things in life very hard to understand

My condolences to the living. Friends, family, clients. Sad news to be sure. None of us really ever walks a mile in another person’s shoes.
