That might be true. But kubota rates the same backhoe for the lx and the l and the lx hes looking at is nearly 1000lbs lighter. So I'm not sure what the harm would be. Unless someone knows a different reason.

I know you are right at your budget, but if you're going with the lx, ask about liquid ballast. Its well worth the money. Hanging a 60" tiller off the back if mine I can still pick up the rears easily when digging. Its on my todo list to haul mine in to get rimguard.

If its still running there was a big rebate for a third attachment a few months ago. The loader counts as one, so a box blade would be two. When I bought my lx, i went with a tiller for my second attachment which made my box blade free.

That's because no one knowledgeable works for that low of pay. When I was on the parts business corporate wouldn't let me hire people for much over minimum wage, I think around $1.75 over. But on the rare occasions I got someone decent I couldn't keep them at that wage or the $.25 annual raise...

    Trying to understand specs

This^ Pressure is the force exerted by a hydraulic cylinder, flow is how fast it does that movement. However the two numbers do not necessarily correlate in that fashion unless you are talking about the same size hydraulic pump. I.e. a larger pump can run the same psi as a smaller pump while...

BXpanded Thumb,Root Ripper, quick connect- Problems-Warranty

Sad news indeed. Too bad, I love.my tooth bar from them and planned on buying pretty much the rest of their catalog. But I'm not willing to risk my machine with parts not properly engineered.

I am 33? years young going on 65. Dealing with the public anymore makes me want to pull my hair out, especially my own generation. I do like attempting to help people from time to time but some have made it so difficult I find myself more and more filing them in the cannot be helped category and...

Anyone recognize this front end loader?

You'd be surprised, they are simple tractors. Not all of them hand the old jungle gym loaders. If the width is right you might just have to fab a bracket for the nose, or it could be missing one. All the ones I've seen mounted to the rear axle either directly over the top or with rigers. They...

I wouldn't quite go that far. Each model is a stepping stone and has its own features and benefits. The b2601 is a bit smaller but has more creature comforts in exchange. Similar to the lx2610 which is the same size and shares the capability of the l2501 but is lighter and again has more...

Anyone recognize this front end loader?

It should have a tag on it somewhere designating a part number. Unfortunately without it theres not really any telling what it was originally for. Hell it could be a later model loader for an old Ford N. There were several manufacturers of loaders going back and they didn't even necessarily...

    Air Seat

Usually when it comes to large chinesium vendors the lower price point comes from one of two factors. Either A, its from the same factory as a name brand but "factory direct", or B it really is a cheap pile of junk. I've been looking at vevors stuff closely and from my research they don't...

    Recycling batteries

Yeah the smell is because their air scrubbers aren't functioning properly. I used to work at a local slaughter house with a rendering dept on the water based air scrubbers. There were 4 in total. I actually lost my sense of smell due to covid back when it first hit the states, but when we drive...

So what closed loop means is they do not return water. In an open loop system, water is taken in and used for whatever industrial process and then returned to the system or to local water ways after processing in an on site water treatment facility. The outflow is periodically tested by the epa...

That has to be the strangest looking facility I've ever seen. So much dead space with the machine right in the center of the room. Almost like they don't intend to expand.

A green tractor question...well, sort of.

We still have one. But everyone that works there is a lazy pos. For whatever reason they want to focus on the standard automotive repair stuff and will only do rad work if you pay their "go away" price. As in they quoted me like $600 to pressure and test the last rad I wanted to take there. That...

A green tractor question...well, sort of.

I switched to ebay for the odds and ends from amazon. During covid they stopped the 2 day shipping for us and never gave it back. So far I'm much happier with ebay anyway because they are cheaper, show up at the same time amazon does post covid, and so far customer service has been easier to...
