    BX Snow Cab

Cab frame at top is 1x2 tubing everywhere except above the tall windows behind the doors which are 1x1. The windshield top rail is also 1x2 tubing and i added another 1x2 piece to accommodate the wiper motor mount. You are correct, on the hinge side the panel can not extend beyond the tubing...

    Custom Rear Remotes for B50

Great job! I too find cardboard templates to be very handy when fabbing up odd shapes. I may have missed it but, are you planning on running hose or hard lines from the valve to quick couplers?

    Water Cooler on ROPS

Outstanding! With a little Kubota Dark Gray paint, that could pass for a Factory Option, great work.

    BX Snow Cab

reamer, Fuel cap is inside the cab. Area above top link is closed off with a sheet metal panel. The remainder of the gaps between the cab exterior and tractor are filled in with LDPE. The LDPE filler pieces lay on top of the cab 1x1 tubing frame and the rear fenders and are held in with...

Good luck if you chose to build. Best advise I can give it to be patient and think things thru before you start cutting material. PS: Don't forget to post pictures!

    BX Snow Cab

Heater Update, Part2: A little paint and a few wires...… I chose to run the power down out of my switch panel instead of mounting the high/low fan switch up top. In doing it this way, I only had to fish 2 wired thru the A pillar channel instead of 3. I was short on room and chose the former...

    BX Snow Cab

Reamer, Thanks! I had the glass cut to fit my openings. Used the cheapest paneling i could find and traced patterns of each size opening. I then drew another line inside of that panel opening to correspond with the gasket thickness. Think lanes on a running track. My glass man custom cut...

    BX1870 Tail Lights Not Working

Not sure if you've check that the bullet connectors are actually mated? I had one tail light out after the last time I plowed snow. Turned out to be a loose connection. Troubleshooting electric problems can be aggravating. Do you have a workshop manual? If not, I'll try to get a picture...

Dayum, life really is like a toilet paper roll

With all this talk of getting old, CRS and your golden years, I'm surprised I was able to find this little ditty from the past. Enjoy

BX23S and FEL for pushing snow

Welcome aboard! They sell purpose made poly edges if you don't mind paying big $. Or, you could use a piece of composite decking or 2x material. I'm assuming you have a bolt on cutting edge on your bucket. If not, you'd need to drill it or, fab a set of clamps. Think bolt on pallet fork...

Update: We got another 6 inches or so of dry fluffy stuff last weekend. A lot colder (15-20F) and WINDY! Had no issues with the windows fogging up this time. Boss Lady musta been felling sorry for me when she asked how it was. Told her fine except my feet got really cold. This is when she...

Cab or No Cab... That is the Question

Same here. The elderly really appreciate the help. I tell them every year I don't want or expect payment. They're gratitude and appreciation are thanks enough. My elderly must be hard of hearing because every year I receive similar payment to NoJacket; baked goods, gift cards and veggies...

Cab or No Cab... That is the Question

After freezing my backside off for 3 years, I now have a cab and absolutely love it! Single digit temps (f) and windy this past weekend. I'll never go back to removing snow with an open station again. If you chose not to pay for aftermarket, just build your own! Regards
