    Do I need this

Raise your hydraulics all the way up, rotate the MMM dial to "top" position. Those MMM bars should then stay all the way up and out or the way regardless of your 3-pt position. Issue solved.

Trouble with MMM linkage NOT lower linkage low enough to MMM.

Don't remember last fall when I took it off. However it seems it did go down to remove mmm.

Trouble with MMM linkage NOT lower linkage low enough to MMM.

Have issues with both my BX1870's. MMM linkage will NOT lower down far enough to hookup MMM. Height adjustment dial is set on "0". Rear 3-pt valve works find and but don't think this regulates the MMM linkage, just the 3-pt lowering. Have to lift up MMM some to hookup. In years past never...

    Drop spreaders

I have used a 5' pull behind drop to apply pulverized lime. Lime must me dry and NOT damp or it will NOT spread well. If I use granular/pelletized lime I usually use a spin type spreader however you can also use a drop spreader. I always use a spin spreader for applying seed then cultipack or...

    Loading Front Tires?

Never really heard of filling fronts for the reason you described. Front tires should be able to carry the weight that the FEL is capable of lifting when filled to the proper psi. Whatever works for you.

    BXpanded Back Hoe Ripper Tooth?

I have a BX23S/16" bucket and had purchased the BXpanded quick change for the BH along with the tooth ripper, 6" bucket and thumb. All work great. Makes a BIG difference when changing buckets.

    Loading Front Tires?

The best fix is to add tubes. Yes you can fill with rimguard or windshield washer/ RV fluid. however you will not gain very much additional weight by filling the fronts. Why do you want to fill the fronts? I would suggest not worth the effort.

    Electric or hydraulic brakes?

Electric for sure. Will need a brake controller in your tow vehicle. BigG correct. Water, road grime and corrosion will soon cause brake and probably light issues. Replace your snap type connectors with heat shrink butt connectors. Google them if unsure what they are and how to use...

    BX front wheel weights

Front suitcase weights is your correct answer on the front with the proper weight bracket. Should be able to mount 4-5 suit case weights depending on width of bracket. Most do not suggest loading the front wheels or wheel weights as it would NOT provide much additional weight. Typically...

    Looking to buy a BX23s

If you are planning on removing the BH, you will want to add rear ballast by loading the rear tires and/OR attach a ballast box to the rear. Rear tires can be loaded with Rim guard (beet juice) or windshield/RV antifreeze fluid. Rim guard will be more $ than the other BUT will give you more...

    MX5100DT fuel valve info

Not going to worry about it alot. Have had the tractor for nearly 9 years and only have 227 hrs. on it. Used at a hunting camp in NEPA for food plot work and clearing log roads. Only the second filter change and probably didn't even need that. What you said is just what I suspected. I...

    MX5100DT fuel valve info

Yep, filter was installed correctly, no issues there. Just was unable to completely stop the flow of diesel when changing filter. Did slow it down to a trickle, but did not stop it. Tractor is filled with a FEL, so very difficult to get at filter. Is what it is.

    Help me decide

Get rid of that B6100E and get a loader tractor with power steering. I did have a B1550DT with a woods FEL and worked great. Still a low HP gear tractor but had PS. If you anticipate alot of FEL work get a HST. Much better for FEL work and less abuse on the clutch.

    BX23 hydraulic fill

You mentioned using the UDT. Should be using the SUPER UTD, however the regular UDT is not bad. I would worry about an 1/8" either. Did you fill the hyd. filter some prior to installing? Whole another issue of do's and don'ts. Just saying. If you did not, new filter will take up some UDT.
