L4630 3 pt slow to lift

Welcome Bill from the warmer part of the state. Lot's of great info on OTT, I'm definitely not an expert but when you added fluid is it possible your still low and have some trapped air that has to work out?

    Digging bucket cleanup attachment

I too have that problem and I found an old "crumbing blade" from a TLB, missing some teeth. Gonna try and get something fabricated in 2021.

Perfect solution. Can't see those going anywhere. Keep us posted on how they work.

    Does tire grooving really work?

That's an interesting front wheel design I haven't seen before. Would like to hear how that does in the snow. I'm going to order a white sharpie to help with the lines as my old eyes may have trouble seeing black on black.

After one week with the LX2610

Float for me worked great going forward with my snow pusher. If I started to lose steering I’d just take it out of float. I’ve always floated in backdrag with bucket but I was pleasantly surprised going forward.

When to expect a new Grand L Series

4 wheel drive indicator on display. Move PTO switch so you don’t hit it with elbow. More seat travel for us “bigger” people. LED lighting as standard. Snow option (low profile flasher/beacon). Factory brush guard option. I’d hardly call the one they have a brush guard! R14 tires as an...

    Does tire grooving really work?

I’ve been diligently reading the grooving posts but put off doing it this year. Tried out the new pusher and noticed some rear wheel slip when backing out of a pile. Was hoping to wait for warmer weather but I think I’ll do it now. I read that blowing heat onto tire helps in cold weather. Glad...

I’m liking the solid flat stock option. Pinned at both levers there’s no way they can move. Bolt or weld a scabbard on each implement and you should be set. FYI I can verify that the stop block works. Bolt hitting it keeps pins from retracting further and dropping your attachment. That’s solved!

    Turning a tractor over

We have drunk driving glasses why can’t we have a tipping tractor? Travels to Kubota dealerships, during open house customers get to strap in and actually tip over on their side. Like our transmission the operator of the interactive exhibit can select L-M-H.

How about this for locking down levers? There’s a treaded stud adjacent to each lever I’m assuming for the hydraulic lever option. A thin cable with loop on one end big enough to fit over lever and attached to, or through, the threaded hole. I tried it with a zip tie just to show location. As...

One poster suggested connecting the levers together with chain. I bought orange chain at Lowe’s to do that but ended up using it on my BH stabilizers.

I went out and took pics. Nbryan solved it for the pin push-up! I would like to see a little longer bolt so there’s less push-up travel but hey this is great information. I’ll try and photograph in the next few days but we’re under winter storm watch for lake effect next couple days. Bottom...

I think you’re onto something. My last pic shows a stop above the bolt too, built into the SSQA plate. I’m curious if the attachment will unlatch if that pin bolt is all the way up against the plate stop? If not, that is the failsafe design built into the SSQA plate. Judging by how much space is...

As others have said there are two issues here: Pins being pushed up and debris catching levers and releasing pins. I suspect that in my case (the former) the pins could not be pushed up any higher than what I was experiencing. I was afraid to backdrag further to find out but you're probably...

    Turning a tractor over

Also, have your "emergency" already planned. By planning it out now you (hopefully) won't have to think - just act, saves time. Generally, stay on the seat with your hands on the wheel and ride out the roll over allowing the roll bar to absorb the shock and do its work. Heard stories where...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Had chain so put together a length to hold stabilizers up. Chain came from Lowe's. It takes 35......not 34 links to work! Gonna wrap the station arm with something to prevent wearing the paint off it.

Confirmed yesterday. Backdrag test with pusher and pins begin to retract. Same test but taping string to both levers showing that levers are not moving as pin is retracting. Thank goodness for this thread as I bought all the parts to drill my levers and attach chain between them. Read this...
