What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Put the tool pouch in the cab. Been lucky so far and haven’t needed any of them.

    UH OH

I had some drips too after 50 hour service, never could track them down other than where they were at the very bottom of underside. Turns out the tech overfilled the hydraulics which I could see on the dipstick but never really put the two things together. After dropping BH (literally!) and...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Plowed for Amazon driver to walk up to front porch. Ordered roll up tool pouch to carry tools and keep behind Kubota seat. Oh, and put up new mailbox that county plow driver knocked over this morning.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Took a look around underneath to make sure no problems were developing. Of course my partner had to help, he doesn’t let me go near tractor unless he’s around - waiting for his ride.

using tractor to pull a stuck car/truck/rv

My ballast box is in the way of the drawbar so no pulling out for me. I'll go home and get the pickup truck and the wife to lay in the snow and hook up the tow strap!

    Tractor Dump Trailer Just Arrived

That is really cool my fellow Michigander! Please post some pics of it in action. How does the price compare to on-road dump trailers? I just bought a 5’x10’ and paid $5,195 for it. I could see a reason to have both. Have to talk to finance about that

Part 2 - new ballast box

Yes for sure on both sides. Mine came one side and with a shovel and broom it totally blocks my SMV sign on tractor. Ended up putting a stick on SMV on the ballast box.

Part 2 - new ballast box

Some line the ballast box with heavy duty trash bags too before placing concrete. In theory you could lift the block out although most of the boxes I have seen have an inward lip. It does isolate concrete from steel but I’m not sure the steel has to last 100 years anyway.

    Help with Snowpusher selection

BH as counterweight (assuming BH92) is just over 2,000 lbs. and plenty. If you have a steel or poly edge be careful setting the depth. I’m not thinking you want it below your skid shoes or it will stop you cold on even small pavement heaves - better have seatbelt on. If you let us know what...

    Help with Snowpusher selection

I have the same pusher in the 1800 series - it’s a great pusher. What kind of tires do you have and are they filled? How about counterweight? How heavy is it? How’s your cutting edge set? Steel, rubber or poly? I’ve found that I’m ok in float until the box is mostly full and as soon as I feel...

    New Dump Trailer!

Yes tucked underneath. It’s a 5’x10’ Diamond C. Adjustable ramp widths will allow me to haul my zero turn with its 42” deck.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Added SMV sign to ballast box.

    New Dump Trailer!

Agree on the front end a little light. I have to put sideboards on it yet and thinking of double 2x6’s as if I go to high I might tend to overload it. What did you do for sideboards? I put the Roadmaster Active Suspension on last year and that helps.

Regen and def on large vs small kubotas

Not sure if I can help but I’ve done 3 regens in 115 hours of use. Seems like 10-12 hours is really short? Lots depends on how throttle is used. When I’m roading with cruise control on and auto throttle disabled I can watch the PM % number decreasing. Generally higher RPM = less often regen.

    New Dump Trailer!

That is nice! I picked one up last month but it’s 7K GVWR so my Tacoma can pull it. I’ll be interested to hear how pulling yours with tractor works out.
