    Implement dollys

I made a dolly for my snowblower at the end of last season. Bought decent dolly wheels from Amazon and used 2x lumber I had hanging around.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Started digging a 70-100' shallow trench for a French Drain along a section of my driveway as we have water that seeps down the side hill in the woods and just saturates my gravel drive in that area so we end up with standing water in summer and ice in the freeze thaw cycles for winter. Loader...

Frustration with waiting on new Kubota order

Agree. I work in Workforce Mgt at a large corporation and yes, the same principals of a small business apply for a Fortune 10 company. We have a duty and mandate to shareholders to hit our earnings targets for the Street. When labor makes a paradigm shift in cost, basic math is needed to...

Frustration with waiting on new Kubota order

Agree with this wholeheartedly. I'm a New England guy and spent my teenage years in MA where at the time (perhaps still is) the min age for employment was 14 years old. With the talk of $15/hr min wage, I cannot reconcile that a McD's drive thru worker that is 14 years old ( yes that was my...

Frustration with waiting on new Kubota order

The delays are impacting darn near everything. Those pictures of the hoards of cargo ships waiting off shore to be unloaded hold a ton of goods in every industry. The supply chain is in rough shape......dock workers, truck drivers, warehouse and DC help. Sure there are raw material and...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Had a guy take down another 2-3 trees of decent size (100' 18-24" base) maples as I need to install a 70' French Drain and these were in the way and/or I would weaken the root system. Been cutting that mess up and hauling the bucked up rounds out back to rent a splitter in a few weeks. Then I...

    Are you ready for Winter?

I plan on using the same setup as last winter (which was my first with the Kubota). 48" blower on the front and 60" rear blade on the back.....Turfs and no chains. Worked like a charm last year.....no reason to think it won't work well for this season

Fair point. Physics being what they are.......

    Drum Roller Compactor

Well of course. The last thing you want is an underpowered PTO when rolling......the roller could catch up to you and crush you...........

    Drum Roller Compactor

Wow. I didn't realize Ferrari built a roller......but if they did, that is it right there......

    Drum Roller Compactor

Thanks sir, this is what I had in mind. I get that nothing is perfect, but that initial setting of the fines is what I had in mind. Multiple passes with the tractor tires is fine for when I am working a specific stretch but I don't think that is practical for all 550' over and over again. The...

    Drum Roller Compactor

I guess I can just regrade it for now and drive drive drive and let the loaded tires do the work..... the box blade does wonders for maintenance.

    Drum Roller Compactor

In looking locally it seems the 48" is much easier to get than the 60" which not only is more spendy but requires heavy freight charges. The 48" can get to 920lbs filled and I can run an offset bar on the 3pt to get it over behind my right rear tire.......thinking of going that route.

    Drum Roller Compactor

I maintain our gravel drive of 550' that has a pretty decent slope to it with some water mitigation challenges. We received 7" of rain in the past week and thus I needed to bust out the box blade and regrade. Challenge is after I regrade it needs some compaction obviously otherwise I run the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Since we got ~7" of rain over the past week and some real nasty flooding around town wiping out some roads etc. The gravel drive took some minor beating with some washed out strips about 6" deep from water washing down over several days. Took care of it last night. As a side note, I'm waiting...

EverythingMoneyAttachments. All the money up front?

I would imagine it is a batch process. No idea. Not my company. I doubt it is a bespoke 1:1 custom process. It is what it is.

EverythingMoneyAttachments. All the money up front?

While we have throttled the heck out of this decidedly dead horse........just wanted to add a side note: I ordered a tooth bar from BX on 5/11 and today's update was that it is being welded now and will be finished in ~2weeks....so figure mid-August to my door is what I am thinking. So 3...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Plus for me I need the added maneuverability provided by front mounting things. The draw bar is WAY too low to do anything with the travel trailer.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I feel lazy compared to some of you. My larger projects are still waiting on my tooth bar to come in from BX.....hopefully shipping in the next week or so. Been using the 2601 to move our trailers around as we have to park our 23' TT and 2 horse trailers in line on the side of the garage then...

EverythingMoneyAttachments. All the money up front?

^^^^ This I say that all the time about our vendors here in extremely large corp America......it isn't about "if" something goes wrong it is "when" and then it is really about how they handle it that matters.
