    6' Rock Rake for B2601?

I got one of these attachments last year for one of our TroyBilt powerbeads to clear the little rocks off our yard after a season of clearing snow with the tractor and blower (gravel drive). As mentioned, they are effective however I would do it in shifts. It can be a decent workout lol. One...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Rented a splitter last weekend as I had a fair amount of rounds I cut up from a few ash and maples I had to take down. I have a few more that need to some down this year so I wanted to get this wood split before dealing with more. Nancy and I worked through it with a few hours each day, about...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Had to clear 12" of heavy wet snow right as it changed to rain......which sucked. Had to go really and take half cuts, not because the tractor couldn't handle it per se, but because the snow was so wet it would just pile up in front of the blow if I added too much ground speed I ended up with...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I do the same thing with my long gravel drive. Back blade flipped around to ) while moving in > direction. You can also play with the top link angle to adjust how aggressive the blade is. Once the ground has frozen hard and has a skim coat on it I will use the traditional blade direction...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

We finally got some snow of substance as we are really behind on snowfall this year in New England. I started up my driveway, start getting to the top and notice the UPS guy up there, then I see a red thing where my mailbox usually is. Get closer......there is an older Ford Ranger in the ditch...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I hear ya. We have no real complaints about out Winnebago 25' at this point other than we want something slightly larger and I actually prefer no slides to deal with. We are about 1 year into the Airstream research. We wouldn't buy one new. But 5-6 years old is our target. They take the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Sounds like a big arse trailer. We currently stick with a smaller (much smaller) TT that I can actually move around with the B2601, which was one of the use cases for the tractor. Tows nicely with our 2014 Ram 2500 6.4L. Thinking of moving to an Airstream in a year or so.......we will see....

And so it begins........ back bladed 2" of powder off the 550' driveway...... Have company coming tomorrow and they don't have a great track record of winter driving in my driveways so let's make it as easy as possible to navigate the hill etc.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Well, glad I'm not the only one that hates dealing with those things......they are fine when they work....and the gun is of good quality, have a great after market Lock N lube tip etc. but there is just no way to swap things out without looking like you got in a fight with an oil well and...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finally swapped the FEL over to the blower for winter, had a buddy here for the holiday last week so Friday it gave us something to do to get out of the house in crappy weather. Now I need to fight my grease gun and load up a fresh cartridge so I can hit the zerks on the blower......anyone...

Snow clearing with front mount snowblower...rear box blade or rear angled blade?

I have both a Rear Blade and Box Blade and most of my driveway maintenance is done with the Box. That being said, I have done some minor maintenance with the Rear Blade and it worked well but I would say it is better for simple touch up and smoothing. If I have any type of holes or real...

Snow clearing with front mount snowblower...rear box blade or rear angled blade?

I do the front blower and rear blade combo and it is aces for my little 500' gravel hill. Anything in the 1-3" range is rear blade only anymore and the blower takes care of it. With the angle blade I have been known to angle a 1-3" storm into a pile in the middle with two outside passes up the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Suffice to say you lived to tell the tale and probably learned a little something......and, probably swapped underwear in the middle of the day for the first time in a while lol. I have some hills on my property that when I have something heavy in the FEL I seem to always think of my abort...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

With winter coming and the hour meter sitting at 47.x hours I took the opportunity of a rainy Saturday to to pull the B2601 into the garage and do the 50hr service a touch early. Overall everything went smoothly......I ran into the common issue of the two drain bolts being heavily covered with...

    Are you ready for Winter?

Haven't really started prep for winter yet at least with regards to snow removal etc. I had to finish up the 70' French Drain project along part of the driveway first which required the bucket and box blade. Still have some minor touch up to do with the BB before swapping to the Blower and...

Friendly PSA - Treat Your Fuel, Cold Weather is Here

Exactly. I'm also never 100% certain how they treat the "off-road" diesel that I buy.....I "assume" it is treated but I have always added additional treatment to be sure. I also wanted to make the point to think about the fuel already in the tractor during this shoulder season if you aren't...

Friendly PSA - Treat Your Fuel, Cold Weather is Here

Since I darn near forgot I figured I would toss out a friendly PSA. I need to fill up my fuel cans which reminded me to put in some winter additive as I doubt I will blow through those gallons before freezing temps hit. The thing I did forget was the fuel currently in the tractor is untreated...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Over the past week I dug a line for a new 70' French Drain along the base of my driveway as water tends to flow off the hill to the right and saturate that section of the gravel drive. Tooth bar really helped with some of the initial digging. Gravel, then drain tile with a fabric filter sleeve...

    Winter Lighting for Plowing

I went with the products from ROPSLights.com in Canada and can't say enough good things about them.
