BX 2680 with no Loader, but has mounts, hydraulics, and stick installed. Where to find Loader?

I owned my BX2380 for over a year before I bought a loader. ( mostly snowblow with it) I think I waited 4 months for one. It ought to be much less wait nowadays. Definitely worth the wait. Unless you are even more lucky than you are now, you likely won't find a lightly used loader collecting...

    Minimum Tire Pressures?

I try never to mow with my BX unless the TG is broken down. They have no suspensions, so they're rough. If I have to mow, I put the fronts at 12-13psi and the rears around 15psi but it only helps a LITTLE. You have the added disadvantage that your rears are loaded, so you'll never recoop any...

    Trying to understand specs

I have NEVER used a backhoe......so.......grain of salt and all that ya understand fellas.. If you can't get any "more power" (rohrohroh in my best Tim-the-toolman-Taylor voice) from your machine but want a little more weight/stability, couldn't you fill the FEL bucket with rocks? (or put a...

blew a hole in the side of the block

I'm not a mechanic, but something like this happened to my Dad's 1978 Honda Civic CVCC Wagon back around 1982. I bought the car off him for $1.00. I had a local welder weld a patch over the hole (as I didn't weld back then). Then I went to the Honda dealer and bought a new connecting rod...

    BX steering wheel "jerk"

On my BX if I have something really really heavy on the forks or bucket, as I putter along (slowly) over uneven ground the steering can be affected with mild jerkiness or actual virtual nonresponsiveness. Not sure if normal or not. Someone smarter than I am will say.

Maybe it's just me.....new member posts asking questions

I *AM* in the install and repair business everyday. Maybe that is *PART* of my grumpiness? I actually ENJOY helping folks. Back in the "oldentimes" my "clients" would say "Hi, I have this XYZ machine I've used everyday for 12 years and it always does *THIS*. I've tried this, this and this...

Maybe it's just me.....new member posts asking questions

Why does it seem like these days more than ever in the past a lot (define "a lot"?), I don't know 15%+?? of new member first posts ask such a vague question with so little associated information as to nearly be laughable? Am I just grumpy? I mean, I am here, just like most of you, to learn...

T1870 Hydrostatic transaxle sluggish - servicing access

I have a different machine TG1860 and I fill through the vent tube. When it overflows--you have too much ! btdt... Sorry, don't have a better answer. Mine has a very very slow leak and I just "top it off" every few years when I notice that it's getting sluggish. A slightly smaller drive belt...

    Rough Riding 3130

I have a similar but not exactly the same issue. The BX rides rough for mowing.... I partially solved it by sitting on what basically amounts to an air cushion that I made myself. I take a regular cushion you'd buy for your daily driver car from any big box store ($15+) then unzip it and slide...
