    New BX23S today, first impressions

I didn't plan on it, but I sold my old push snowblower about mid winter. My "oops" was parking it way out behind my shed. I took my BX2380 and BX2830 blower and snowblowed an L-shaped 50' path through 2'-2.5' of old snow roughly midwinter. Took some time, but I was able to do it. We did get...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Moved about 1000lbs of bricks (what I call concrete "pavers" used to build retaining walls) from one spot to another spot 250' away. 3 loads of aprox 330lbs/load with my little BX. Could definitely feel the weight for sure. Then I used the (empty) bucket to help pound in some 6' rebar "posts"...

    Smoothing out a field trail?

I can relate. I mow ~2acres of old cow pasture (now it's my lawn) and it rattles my bones. Even after mowing it for 18yrs ! The first year or two that I was here I shoveled/skimmed some soil from the high spots, and some patches of grass from here and there and filled in the low spots...

How to Remove Giant Crankshaft Nut from L3710?

I don't have a dog in this fight and this is just an honest question from a guy who's always trying to learn. -Why won't you start the tractor up for 2 minutes and raise the loader? (do you think it'll overheat or spit out all its oil? Not being accusational....just trying to learn. (real)...

    BX2380 brake question

I'm afraid I don't have your answer, but just a little more info. My BX2380 has nearly 50hrs on it, but WILL NOT move when the parking brake is on. I know, I've tried (without thinking) quite a few times. I congratulate myself for remembering to set the brake, but then mentally kick myself for...

    New BX23S today, first impressions

Nice !! Same blower as mine. In fact, this is my primary use of the machine (snow) but I've found I like to do other things with it also. I got the electric deflector due to cost. I was trying to cut costs and I didn't want to be limited to 1 function at a time (as explained to me). So far...

    New BX23S today, first impressions

Looks really good ! Which model cab? Which model blower? Your garage floor is the same style as a bench in my hobby room. I like it !

    New BX23S today, first impressions

Love my BX2380 (pretty much the same as yours less backhoe). Don't notice any furrows created from my front blower (BX2830 model 48") but I had the same thoughts as you. Good writeup ! Enjoy

Please allow me to introduce myself....

ahhh, well, I can't be right about everything-haha. When I was watching "the terminator" the other day, Ididn't know there'd be a (similar-ish) bike show up a couple days later on OTT and that I was studying for a future test (that I failed). It's the same wind, so it's still a win-win to me...

How to Remove Giant Crankshaft Nut from L3710?

Maybe I missed it (too lazy to comb through all the messages) but how did a part of your steering come in contact with the front cover on your engine? (that sounds nasty) (I hope I have that right)

Building a better brush guard for my L4760

Excellent work. I really like it. (and liked the joke too, lol)

    Roundabouts

Lots around here. Be glad you have the sign. I still see folks going around them the wrong way. THAT'LL stain your shorts !

Please allow me to introduce myself....

I watched the original "Terminator" the other day (for probably the 5th time). (you know..."I'll be back" in my best deep Austrian accent) and I wonder if that's the same bike Arnie was riding? I know he did an HD Fatboy for the next movie, but I swear it was an early 80's BMW with a fairing in...

How to Remove Giant Crankshaft Nut from L3710?

I know this really doesn't address your "current" issue with the screws but in the early 1980's my father put a rod out right through the side of the block on his 1978 Honda CVCC wagon. A quarter or "loonie" (Canadian dollar coin) sized hole, best as I can recall. (the issue wasn't low oil, but...

How to Remove Giant Crankshaft Nut from L3710?

I did this on a Subaru (but I am farrrr from a mechanic). I held the crank pulley with a vicegrip type of chain-wrench . I took an old leather belt (the type you wear() and put it around the pulley so it wouldn't get damaged then wedged the end of the vicegrip in somewhere where it couldn't...

    Front Mounted Snow Blower

You may be on your own....I can't imagine anyone has a "database" of what aftermarket snowblowers will fit on the front a a Kubota, matched to their K-COnnect system..........but I've been wrong before.LOL Does an L series have a mid-mount PTO?\ Good luck !

    Front Mounted Snow Blower

I don't know the first thing about an L-series other than they are much bigger than my baby BX. I think if you go to the Kubota 'build my kubota" site you can answer SOME of these questions yourself.(by adding options, taking note of part #'s, pick a different class tractor, rinse repeat) I am...
