    Tire bulging out the side

I would GUESS it'll fail when you have that big ol' load in your bucket, hit a rock or pothole and then tip the tractor in such a way as to change the color of your shorts or worse, test the structural integrity of your ROPS. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

    2001 BX2200 won't turn over... relay (re-)wiring question

I don't know about you guys, but I am anxious to know if this beast will start with a charged battery ! You both are to be commended for your patience. Well done fellas. (fingers crossed)

    Problem keeping BX2380 running

The splines only align on that end one way. You have to look very very closely at it. There is a gap in one of them. It's hard to see unless you are looking for it. You were lucky to just spin it and get it to match. That won't usually work (for me anyways) as the splines are very...

    Problem keeping BX2380 running

Glad he got it running OK (hopefully_!!!) Decks are not exactly super"easy" to take off and on, but read the mower manual or search the Messicks Tractor videos on youtube. There's at least 1 (maybe 2) there that show how to take off and put on the decks. There are other videos too. It all...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

QH05 here for my bx2380. I think a qh10 would've fit also. (but I wanted the smallest/cheapest/lightest one possible,. We must've bought 2 of the last. Those models are not being made anymore. You'll enjoy it.

    Problem keeping BX2380 running

Like I said, I really doubt bumping that 3 point lift arm into the ground has anything to do with the rough running. (if it had indeed been the PTO, which we've thankfully established it's NOT) then that's a different story. Onto more troubleshooting.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Yes, I am fairly tech savvy, but my wife took the pic, has no email on her phone and texting the picture to me works 99% of the time, but not on this occasional. (I think the picture file is corrupt.) Another day, I'll do a similar photo. Thanks though ;-)

    Problem keeping BX2380 running

Oh boy....I think we have a failure to communicate. This is the PTO (power take off). It's inside the red circle.(under the plastic cap) It's used to power things via a short 2'-ish driveshaft like rear mowers, tillers, and the like. You say he backed up on the 3 point arm (because it...

    Problem keeping BX2380 running

3 point hitch arm (not TPO like your initial post said.) TPO is not anything....PTO is, but it's not germain to this issue.

    Problem keeping BX2380 running

I reread your initial post. I think I see now..... I think it's a 3 point hitch arm that he backed up on, as something came off and let it go down. You can say "3 point hitch" or "3PH" but TPO is so close to PTO it had me confused. I am willing to bet the non-running and bending/jamming the...

    Problem keeping BX2380 running

I understand....I have the exact same machine. If you are referring to the 3-POINT HITCH *(the thing out back that goes up and down, that's one thing. If you are referring to the PTO (power take off) the driveshaft kinda thingy that runs your tiller,(and also your mid--mount mower) that's...

    Suggested pricing for a non-running B6200?

It's not a new tractor. 32 yrs ago it sold for about $10k It's underpowered and either 2WD or 4WD (I can't be 100% sure) It won't move. What else is potentially wrong with it? The seller is lucky to have found you, or you him. (he has to know that) I would give someone MAYBE $500 for that...

    Problem keeping BX2380 running

TPO? Do you mean the 3 point Hitch? (or PTO - ie: power take off) 3-PH The 2 arms + 1 cylinder on the back of the tractor that would typically be used to attach your tiller ( and other implements) to? Not sure how (if that's what you mean) would affect the tractors ability to run. Sorry I...

    post driver/banger for tractor bucket?

I tried to drive some (sharpened) 6' long rebar "posts" into my ground the other day with the bucket on the BX and was met with very limited success. You'd have to see my ground to believe it. Almost zero "soil", no clay and pretty much pure rock with gravel and a little sand mixed in for good...

    Starter Issue

Was only the starter itself replaced? (why?) I don't know if your model has a solenoid closeby or mounted on the starter itself and it was replaced as well. Generally speaking it sounds like a voltage drop issue. (dirty <electrical> contacts, <mechanical> connections opening up slightly due to...

    New BX23S today, first impressions

Indeed. I've seen that video too, but it's not the cutting edge being too low that is catching the dirt in the driveway, it's the "inside edge" of the skids, when you turn, that are pulling the dirt way up....like 3-4" tall or so (varies with the type of snow that's down and how loose your dirt...
