I'm like many who tip past the maximum 220ish which causes the seat to bottom out. My cheap method to prevent the hard crashes is to stick pool noodle segments in. I believe someone posted this idea before but I didn't see a picture. A regular screwdriver is used to pop out the retaining clips. Do the front and first one on each side. Stuff a noodle on one side all the way to the back to get an idea of length to cut. Two layers of four each will do the bulk of it. Short spares can be used as fillers. Replace the accordion cover and clips. I think I had one small piece left after two noodles. Been doing a full day of scraper/grader work and find a much better seating height and no more bottoming out, at least the teeth rattling kind. We'll see how it works longer term. Weight limit now? I grabbed big dog for the lap dance and together we were 380 pounds and nothing broke. Couldn't get a picture of the dual operator mode, but it was funny.

LOL, pool noodles - ingenious. (too bad about your warranty) :ROFLMAO:

I do it a little differently. I have a zippered foam "seat pad" with cover. The common type any car store or hardware store would sell you for the drivers seat in your dd car - > THEN, I add inside that a very large "thigh cuff bladder" from the inside of a blood pressure cuff. (think super sized blood pressure cuff)
Has a short connection tube and hand pump up bulb (with valve) on it. I generally don't use it in the winter when doing my mostly flat driveway, but any mowing or yard work - it saves the back.

It takes a surprisingly small amount of air in the bladder to get a pseudo "air ride".

I do something similar on my large Harley motorcycle, but have it built right into my seat.

I like "out of the box" thinking.
