Towing a 14' utility trailer for a hayride?

Same here. Every year used to have a big Bonfire down by the pond. Load up all the kids (and a few adults) on the 20' flatbed trailer with hay bales on it. Pull it very slowly around the property on the ranch roads. About a 30-45 minute ride depending on the route. Never had an issue. All...

    10kW PTO generator

Gen-sets during 'storage' need to be protected against Mice and Mud Daubers where I am. As you know....mice love to chew on any exposed wiring and IF Mud Daubers can get into the generator head or windings, they will build nests there. I don't worry too much about a generator being exposed...

I get bored easily.....Then the drinks start flowing....Then I say, hold my drink, and watch this.....

^^^^^^ Maybe. I believe it is within a woman to 'forgive' on occasion....BUT they will NEVER 'forget'. ;) It will be logged away to be brought up in some completely unrelated argument 5 years down the road! "Like that time you used my mop bucket to coat your trailer deck......" I can...

My new truck won't handle the load

You would think the front of the vehicle would lift before the frame would break (where it did). You can thank the 'bean counters' for that... most likely. Pretty sure the engineers are capable of designing a frame that will hold up.

Raise your hand if you've ever hit your hand with a hatchet making kindling.....

Never hit my hand with a hatchet, but did manage to 'hack' my leg (shin bone) with my machete once. Never done that before or since. I was swinging at a pine sapling and somehow caught the blade in a green brier vine which redirected the machete. It went DEEP into my shin bone. I was about...

    Greasing an LB400

Mine are pretty much dead center with boom fully down. If yours are not...then clearly you are on track with the right solution (enlarge access hole).

    Greasing an LB400

IF these are the fittings you are asking about.....mine line up for greasing when the boom is fully down.

    Wear Your Seat Belt

Yep. OP should have written IF the Good Lord calls you home....not 'when' (which suggests pre-destiny anyway). The Good Lord gave us intelligence and common sense (most of us) and expects us to use it. More than one person has cut short what otherwise might have been a longer life, by...

    Truckers, stay off the phone

Good. Had a tanker truck on our Farm to Market road (yesterday) go COMPLETELY into my lane causing me to brake hard and head for the shoulder. I could plainly see the driver on his damn phone just before he jerked the rig back into his lane....! Distracted driving has become a huge problem.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

^^^^^ I readily concede that would take the 'risk' away. But I still maintain that area looks like it might harbor a snake or two. Colloquially.... "Snakey" where I'm from. :) I have an area on my property that has a spring fed branch running through it and is just lousy with Copperheads.

    Wear Your Seat Belt

Relatively slow speed has nothing to do with it. I've been operating tractors for about 53 years now and until last summer, never had a serious incident or particularly close call. But I learned a valuable lesson one day when NOT wearing my seat-belt. I was mowing (rotary mower) along the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Female most likely. Looked 'Gravid' to me (about to bear live young). They normally have their young this month (August) and September in my area (Deep East Texas). Even a well fed Copperhead would not normally be that 'thick' all the way to its tail.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Its a 'Southern' Copperhead actually. We have that and the 'Broad-Banded' Copperhead where I live. That one fell out of an old tire I had picked up to move.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

^^^^^^ (y) Agreed. Bleach beyond a certain concentration will kill grass/flowers. Properly diluted....it is not an issue at all. So quite possible for two folks to have two different experiences with it.
