The IRS and I finally agree on something!

^^^^^ Not to rain on your parade or otherwise dash your hopes and wishes: You might want to revisit these sentiments after age of say.....65. Once the aches, pains and other ravages of aging begin to set in.....you'll find it tends to 'temper' any wishes to outlive a Giant Sequoia...

Storage On A Tractor - Kolpin Gear Basket 53360

That toolbox holds a decent amount of 'Must Have' tools, shear pins, extra hitch pins, lynch pins, etc..... But the best thing about it is that it makes a perfect Arm Rest. :)

GrizBota Wrote: And one last photo showing that somehow it all worked out that the slow moving vehicle placard still fits in the stock location. I also appreciate that the basket fits between the tail lights, so they remain unobstructed...

Adding Hay 'Spear' to Hay 'Fork'........

The Hay Spear is 'tapered' on the end that fits into the 'Sleeve'. So when you tighten the nut on the back it 'wedges' itself against the sleeve (the spear being a larger diameter than the sleeve). The nut on the back has a 'bevel' that mates to a recess in the sleeve which captures the...

Adding Hay 'Spear' to Hay 'Fork'........

I don't use the Hay Fork on my compact tractor that much (for moving hay bales). Normally use my larger tractor with front mounted hay spear. But on occasion I will move a bale to an area up a fairly steep hill and the smaller tractor goes up that narrow 'trail' easier. Anyway....about a...

    Maui Fire

The fire is out already. The tree is getting a daily watering (post fire) to try and nurse it back to health. During the actual fire....no amount of water (from a human source) would have staved it off. It was that kind of 'wild fire'.

    Propane for Generac

Our 24Kw Generac will use about 4 gallons per hour (at full load). We have a 250 gallon tank and I wouldn't consider a tank any smaller.

^^^^^ That is exactly why I KNOW for certain there is no such thing as 'Bigfoot/Sasquatch'. There is no Cajun Recipe for it. End of Story. ;)

Off the Orange for a while

Hope your procedure goes as well as it possibly can. You are fortunate to have a Son willing and able to help out while you recover. Teach him well (and be patient). ;) We hope to hear more from you here....while you recover. So that would be a good thing. (y)

    coolant temp gauge install

Yeah my L2350DT came with just a 'whistle'. That was just a little too rudimentary for me. Don't need to know when the system is already so hot it is making steam and boiling over. Better to be able to 'monitor' it in real time. So added an analog temp gauge to the dash. Good thing to...

    Maui Fire

To be fair, the island is a bit bigger than just the part that burned. Approximately 25 miles wide and 50 miles long. I would expect anything upwind of the fire to have escaped damage.

    Maui Fire

'Technically' if it has erupted in the 10,000 years it is considered 'Active', after that period...then 'dormant' (if expected to erupt again). There is evidence showing it has erupted (resulting in lava flow) at least 10 times in the last 1,000 years. IF we take 'active' to mean 'currently'...
