    Buy once, cry once. Buy a Stihl. Don't necessarily agree with buying premixed fuel if you have a gas station near by that sells ethanol free gas. (I have several near me.) Always use Sta-Bil (or other gas treatment) and keep your tank full all the time when not in use.

    Did you not get an operator's manual with your tiller? Whether welded or bolted it clearly shows one.

    Sounds like it's operating correctly according to what my dealer told me. That is what it is designed to do. For instance, if you're using a tiller on the 3 pt hitch, when you want the tiller to do down, you don't want the mower to go all the way down, but it will go down to 4 when you have it...

    Is this normal

    You have to set the gauge wheels for the height you are cutting. The manual for your mower will tell how to do that and where to set them for the height. If the gauge wheels are all the way up and you are trying to mow at 2" then you probably are digging in with the mower.

    Bolts and pins are in the wrong place. Same thing happened to me. Fixed it myself, but I let the dealer know about it.
