    Jeep Front bumper repair

Underneath where the mounting brackets are we need to see them, just pulling on the bumper will help some, but getting the hidden bracket straight is the best is, just nuts and bolts to remove.

Look what I found when trying to remove my 3pt hitch arm

I would have to guess that happened because it lost the bolt on the other side causing all the stress on that point, same thing happened on my old full size back hoe with the pivot bracket (200lb piece of cast metal that holds the front steering/suspension together) bolts came loose and...

Look what I found when trying to remove my 3pt hitch arm

Cast is possible to weld with special arc rods, I have a Metallurgist who lives by me and assisted in some of my cast welding, difficult and not as strong as original, contact the welders in your area and see if anybody is up to the task with no guarantee. Cast is welded slow to not overheat the...

show off your "on" tractor toolbox

For the L 47, the 40 caliber can was the largest ammo can I could find, to hold the most. It is actually a larger cam than the 50 caliber can. Doing a search of the many times this subject has been talked about. I posted my pictures at least a couple times.

New land owner looking for ?

I had an old backhoe, loader, full-size, and it was very nice to get heavy work done with that but you gotta fix them and work on them when they break down. That’s why I got rid of it and got my L 47TLB so I have the three point hitch also for scraping the field and my dirt road so you got lots...

    LB402 Loader

Put it together the same way you take it apart and if it’s never been taken apart before it might be very difficult to, I had a hydraulic shop break mine open and then I just rebuilt It. Got my seals aftermarket because everything‘s ridiculous with the prices.

    50 hr service

If you're asking us and you're not handy with tools you may want to have the dealer do at least your first maintenance because the filters are sometimes sealed on by paint and not fun to get off. You should be able to look online for maintenance schedules.

New to tractors but have a tractor in mind

40hrs over 1 week, was a 10-year event, I had fun for the first 10 hrs. FEL is 6', rear blade is 7', I would get the heaviest, (most metal) one you can find. Rear chains made out of semitruck chains found on the 5 fwy, front whatever you find that will fit, auto/truck chains, they all work...

    Buying advice needed: L2500

How does it run? I am concerned about the guy flipping it did he find something wrong with it? Otherwise sounds like a great deal. If possible, have an experienced Kubota owner run it or make a utube video for us of it running.

New to tractors but have a tractor in mind

All depends on the conditions. 1st day no chains and my rear blade, after that, chains on all 4 and used my front loader, I don't have a blower, this is a rarity, spent 40hrs clearing mine and the neighbor's drives.

    Chain link fence install DIY?

Put in over 3000' of field fence, 4" squares, around my 13 acres to make the DW happy, had to remove the 4-strand barb wire first, took me a year because my carpal tunnel got so bad while doing it, I had to have both hands cut. Corners or any openings need to have the H configuration for...

    Grapple Size - L3800

I put a oversized Rock Bucket on my L47 and sold it for a minor loss, I will bet you would do the same. Where are you located so I can check it out when that time comes?

Need advice on buying L3302DT -- first tractor, so many questions!

Unless you're getting a sweet deal, a manual trans is good for field plowing/mowing, but the work you mentioned, I have had both and HST is a lot nicer/easier.

Looking to buy fel for my bx

It's a tough place you're in, I've been their myself, you're going to be told to sell it and buy a tractor that already has a FEL.

    Anybody use a 3pt trencher?

I did 3000 feet of trenching on a sit down trencher in one day and renting it for $900 , was by far the best thing to do for the wear and tear or it would’ve put on the old backhoe I had at the time, not to mention, it was the right tool for the job. Had to use a borrowed three-quarter ton truck...
