Anyone ever make their own small farm/duck pond?

My ponds take significant filtering because water is limited, if cleaner water is available to flush with then just the pump and power to do weekly should work, just need to dig a hole at the best location and put in appropriately sized pipe, 1" sounds ok for yours, but bigger is always better...

A lot of hard hours going to put on your tractor, use the right tool for the job. Sounds like busy work, most roads need to be raised not lowered, you never answered why this needed to be done?

Stuck between Kubota M62 and L47

Yes you will probably need more weight, but I would try it first, hate to be dragging that extra weight around if you didn't have to.

Stuck between Kubota M62 and L47

I have owned a full size and a L47, I love the L47, size, power, and 3pt but there is no comparison for HP and lbs. If you're not widening the trails, then the L47 is the best you're going to do.

    PTO Driven Water Pump

HF has them for cheap, but between the hard suction and how far the discharge hose is going will be the additional cost. Had my 2" for 15 years and it still works great, 100gpm.

    BX1500 auger or handheld auger?

I am not familiar with your specific tractor, you may have to manufacture it to fit/cut the pto drive shaft, I would first get yours to new specs, it looks like you could be missing some parts and the strain you will put on it will be very bad if you break some casting.

    BX1500 auger or handheld auger?

I have used both, if you're going to be doing many holes get the 3pt/tractor one, easier on the body but not cheaper, if you're doing hard ground/clay let it soak and use some penetrant, I tried pounding it up and down and just bent my teeth, had to pound them back and weld them stronger. Soft...
