    wiring diagram for t1400

Kubota should still offer a workshop manual for it. Check your dealer. The material (all of Kubota's material) are copyrighted, and if you find it online for free, you're finding copyrighted materials that are/were freely distributed....against Kubota's copyright most likely. I do know that...

    L3301 HST. Regen

Now one thing worth mentioning..... I know someone who doesn't know a thing about this new regen stuff, and apparently doesn't care either. Those lights in the dash mean nothing. The beeper means nothing. He ignored both. Stage 2 DPF began at 176 hours. At 300, stage 5. Tractor will not...

    L3301 HST. Regen

No, you keep working. The DPF lamp (upper right corner) will light and stay lit until regen is complete. When it comes on (not blinking), just continue running the tractor, don't shut it off, don't idle it down, just keep using it. It's real simple, unfortunately the fender sticker and owners...

    kubota D750 glow plug size

D722, D782, D902, are all M8-1.00. I would imagine that the D750 should be as well but I have been known to be wrong one time....

    L3830 will not start

The meter and relays flicker because the voltage that feeds them is low. But now we need to ask ourselves, why is it low? Start at the source. Battery. Grab your volt meter and test the battery voltage with the key off. You're looking for 12.6 to 12.9v. Then have someone turn the key to...

    3540 L clutch

I would consider the clatter normal. Keep an eye on it though. Next time you change the hydraulic filter, cut the old one open and look for metal shavings inside. If it's severe, it may be looking at a potentially expensive repair.

    L3240

For some reason, I've had a slew of failing lift pumps in the shop recently, same symptoms. BUT you want to isolate it from everything else first.

    Kommander Z127

Sounds like the brake safety switch is acting up. Ask your dealer about it. Kubota has a permanent fix for it but it's not a quick easy job. Expect about 4 hours for the actual repair. It involves replacing the frame crossmember with an updated one, along with a new style brake switch that...

    L3301 HST. Regen

2700-2800 RPM is normal for the 3301 and 3901 for the regeneration process to start. It has to be revved up like that in order to maintain enough heat in the DPF to burn the soot off. When the light comes on, just go wide open and let it eat.

    D722 turbo

Did the D722 ever come turbocharged? Reason for asking, we're working on a project that's using a D722, and it's BEGGING for the turbocharger. Not so much for the power increase, but more for the sound and cool factor. Where might a guy find the stuff to do it?

    L2800 HST Replace Brake Disc

It's not too bad to do. Hardest part-as I recall-is getting the old liquid gasket off and out of the channel. Upon reassembly, I find it beneficial to use the Ultra Grey sealant-as it hardens up. Downside is that you don't have a lot of time to assemble as it sets up a little faster than...

    L4701 Error Codes

The codes have to be cleared with Kubota's diagmaster software. It can be cleared from the tractor panel manually but then has to be cleared also from the ECU via Diagmaster and a laptop.

Replace Trans oil filter mount ?

I have replaced that part before. It's not too bad. There is a metal pipe that goes into the transmission that also usually gets damaged so be sure to check/replace it while you're down there.

    L3301 harness

I have a main wire harness for L3301 and L3901 HST tractor, would like to sell it if anyone could use one. I think they're about $1000 new, would like to get $250 + shipping (which isn't much) for it. Tractor ran fine with no codes, actually when I got it I had to do a regen right off the bat.

PICS of Kubota Engine and (hopefully) rebuild

as mentioned, the smaller the diesel engine, the more sensitive it is to compression-and more specifically compression leaks. A big piston with a long stroke still has to make a lot of cylinder pressure to fire the fuel, but it does so a LOT easier because of the size. It will have a lot more...

    8560 50hr service

I don't know this for a fact, but I wonder if the DPF itself is on the small side for the M's? The size of the filter can dictate how often it wants to regen, among many other variables that I had discussed in an earlier post. Don't like the DPF? Call your congressman. All part of the...

    Help with G1800 dashboard.

The horn is for "overheat warning" for those who can't see, or don't ever look at (like me), a temp gauge. Or if the gauge doesn't work :) There are two temp sensors. One is on the thermostat housing of the engine. That one makes the horn go beep. The other one is on the back of the engine...

    Slow Engine Tachometer Response

Yes I have noticed it. It's just a characteristic of the machine, that's all. Nothing wrong.

    G1900 ignition/electrical problem

Start off by testing the fuses, not pulling them out and eyeballing them, actually testing them...ohm meter or test light works well. There's also a fuse-able link (or slow-blow fuse on the newer models) over by the starter that can give fits sometimes. You're going to have to do some...

    TL720 Lift cylinder

Ran into this issue a while back. The steel threads in the barrel of the cylinder assembly get corroded (rusty) and then the aluminum gland gets welded (seized) to the barrel. Removing it usually means it will get damaged. If not damaged too badly (broken), a machine shop should be able to...
