    Attachments for BX23S backhoe

This is really helpful. The warning about the armor is really helpful..."excitement" and "pedal linkage" are not words I want to see in the same sentence, and certainly not experience. It hadn't occurred to me to use the ripper as a mini-trencher ... can you get in deep enough or does it bottom...

    Attachments for BX23S backhoe

I will report on the ripper as soon as I get a chance to use it. One of my top projects is pulling some stumps, and I don't want to abuse my tractor. So the ripper seemed like a good thing to have right off the bat. I don't know if I'll be doing any actual trenching soon, but of course I'll have...

    Attachments for BX23S backhoe

That's great to hear! I definitely see the value of the quick change adapter ... my decision not to buy immediately was partly money and partly wanting to see how much time I am spending switching implements. I have glacial till in the Pacific Northwest, so there are a lot of rocks, but I think...

    Attachments for BX23S backhoe

I ordered everything last night. Hydraulic thumb would be cool but not a viable option. It will be interesting to see how much clogging I get with the 6" bucket. I'm guessing it depends a lot on the soil.

I ordered all three last night, plus the UnderArmor

    Attachments for BX23S backhoe

Are you talking about the "quick change" adapter or some other adapter? I'm only aware of the quick-change adapter. My understanding is that the quick change adapter is made solely to increase the speed of changing implements. I thought about buying one but I decided against it for now. It...

    Attachments for BX23S backhoe

Thank you. Yes, this is why I'm asking in february. Their web site quotes a somewhat more optimistic lead time, but who knows what it will actually be.

    Attachments for BX23S backhoe

I recently purchased a BX23S and have started thinking about the projects I want to use it for, and the implements that could be useful. Was wondering if anybody had any thoughts regarding the following backhoe implements from BXpanded, including alternate manufacturers. Factory mount thumb...

Just bought a repo BX23S on auction (title edited)

Well, as I understand it now, the rear remotes control the 3 point hitch, which is also used to mechanically control the mid mount mower height. It's the same mechanism.

Thanks for the download link. On the Operators Manual ... it was for the BX23S ... I don't remember what I said ... that was a couple of days ago, when I was so much younger and more naive.

Just bought a repo BX23S on auction (title edited)

thanks so much for the info. I haven't had a chance yet to crawl under the tractor, so I have no idea what's down there just waiting to get damaged. I will definitely get an underbelly guard. I don't intend to abuse my tractor, but I don't intend to baby it either. I checked out the Bxpanded...

Just bought a repo BX23S on auction (title edited)

Funny you should mention that. Last night I was looking at wheel spacers online, and saw a posting somewhere about using the Jeep spacers. There is only one place on my property where I might need some extra stability, but even a couple of days ago I was removing snow from a neighbor's driveway...

UPDATE: files are now available on GitHub: http://BX23S-OperatorManual The original and the fixed version of the PDF are there. You want the one that has the suffix "-Fixed" on it. Hover your mouse over the two and you should see which one is which.

Let me know if you find any errors. I found one earlier today but I didn't take a note of it ... it was one page off.

BX23S Operator Manual PDF with bookmarks that work

The PDF is too big to attach to this message, so here's a link to it on dropbox. UPDATE: files are now available on GitHub: http://BX23S-OperatorManual The bookmarks are viewed in a separate pane ... it's not the table of contents pages actually in the PDF. Some PDF viewers call it "Table of...

I don't know, some people are lost causes. But perhaps you are referring to the monitor, depending on exactly what you mean by "behind"

BX23S Operator Manual PDF with bookmarks that work

Cool. I post it up somehow tomorrow. Just to be clear what this is ... the Operator's Manual PDF already has bookmarks in it so you can quickly navigate around in the document. But about a third of them don't work, so you click on on a bookmark and nothing happens. In my version, all the...

BX23S Operator Manual PDF with bookmarks that work

I've downloaded several copies of the BX23S Operator Manual PDF, including one from Kubota Canada's web site. I've seen two versions; K2892-7121-2 and K2892-7121-3. I noticed that many of the table of contents/bookmarks in the -3 version don't work. That irritated me, so I fixed them. The PDF...

Just bought a repo BX23S on auction (title edited)

I love it. I have a cabin on 1.3 acres. My main use is to help me build my garden. I already have 50 rhododendrons planted and am planning a flower garden and hydrangea forest and possibly a stand of pink dogwoods. I have been propagating hydrangeas for two summers and have a couple of hundred...

Excellent. I need to call them anyway and find out exactly when the tractor was originally sold. Thanks!
