    Giving Up On OTT

It would appear that something has been done, as I have recently returned without issue (so far). Thanks to whomever has done whatever. Will remain vigilant.

    General Question on 3pt capacities

Follow the specifications in the tractor Owner's Manual. Tractor data is a place to start but is not to be trusted.

    Found a better deal. Ironcraft 2512 Flex-Wing Mower - $12,900

This is how BWs function is set up to operate from a single hydraulic remote. You will quickly tire of such annoyance and add another remote for the wings. Be sure to specify a float valve for this circuit.

    Suitcase weights on lx3310

I used suitcase weights on my B3350, since sold. Despite the Operator's Manual clearing stating that 3 suitcase weights can be added to the front frame of a B3350 without a separate weight bracket, as is possible on the 2650, 2610, etc., this CANNOT be done because the hood is longer on the...

B7100hst, replacement brake shoes too big?

I would save my $17.50 and just use sandpaper.

B7100hst, replacement brake shoes too big?

If the old shoes have not been run inside the new drums metal to metal, badly scoring the drums, you can clean up the drums with course sandpaper. This not a F1 race car.

B7100hst, replacement brake shoes too big?

Finding a shop with a brake drum grinder is just about impossible these days and finding a brake drum lathe that will accommodate such a small drum may well be problematic. Finding a shop with a brake shoe cam grinder suitable for grinding the shoes will likely be even more difficult. Can't...

    5 Acres: LX2620 vs LX3520

Difference between the two is HP, and for a tractor of this size, the increase is enormous. HP increase will be most noticeable when mowing tough cover and snowblowing should you decide to do so. FWIW/ the most common complaint regarding the B2650/LX2610 is insufficient power. Would expect...

Please help, new tractor owner - changing implements

You will need a very small no till drill for use with your 2501. I would be surprised if any FSA office has anything suitable.

New owner trying to figure out mowing needs

Sizing a rotaty cutter depends upon what one plans to cut, how ofter one plans to cut it, how closely one plans to cut it, and how quickly one plans to move while cutting it, as well as tractor power weight and terrain. Your 28 PTO HP tractor will handle a 5' rough cut mower in nearly all...

    looking for a plow

Not sure why you want a plow. Few folks plow these days as tillers are much preferred. If you plow you will also need a disc to finish the soil unless you have a tiller, in which case you do not need a plow.

    looking for a plow

It will be, especially in sod. Manufacturers do not install coulters on plows without a reason.
