Can anyone post some photos of a gc60 grass catcher installed on a b series?

Part Number It's your lucky day. The Kubota part number for the short arms used on the GC60B is 76710-55301. The arm is called a support link (2 required) and they are still available from Kubota. I found only a single part number so it appears that the same arm is used on all GC60B grass...

    Quick Attach FEL+Blade or Blower

The best set-up for you depends upon the amount of snow you expect in your area and your terrain. I recently bought a B3350 with QA FEL. I also bought the hydraulically angled QA mounted snow plow, partially because a hard rubber cutting edge is offered for it unlike the electric over...

Can anyone post some photos of a gc60 grass catcher installed on a b series?

Glad to help, and I needed to learn how to post photos, anyway. I'll follow up on the part numbers Tuesday or Thursday. SDT

Can anyone post some photos of a gc60 grass catcher installed on a b series?

OK, Sparty. I have the photos on the old computer, and have logged into orangetractortalks on the old computer as well. I need to learn how to post photos so will use this as a learning experience. There should be three photos. Hopefully this will help. I will also try to come up with the...

Can anyone post some photos of a gc60 grass catcher installed on a b series?

Following is a description of the GC60B short arms. Note: All measurements are approximate but should suffice. The original dimensions are probably metric. My measurements are taken by a ruler in mms. Initially, L & R arms are identical. One is installed upside-worn relative to the other...

L2501 Front Weights and Grill Guard options ???

Glad to help. FWIW, though I have never owned a 2501, and, therefore, cannot comment with certainly, I believe that 3 front weights can be frame mounted to your tractor. Though again not certain, I expect that the grill guard must be removed to do so. Again, without certainty, I expect that 3...

L2501 Front Weights and Grill Guard options ???

Certainly not. I know of no Kubotas where front weights can be installed simultaneously with the FEL, and doing so would be inadvisable in any regard and likely void one's warranty due to unacceptable stresses upon the front axle and hubs. That said, the front weight bracket (without weights)...

Can anyone post some photos of a gc60 grass catcher installed on a b series?

A Couple of Options I just looked at the short "lift arms" for the GC60B grass catcher for my B1750, and can offer a couple of options. Firstly, I am a VERY good customer at my local CNH/Kubota dealer, which is only 5 miles away. I'm on first name basis with everyone there and they like me a...

Can anyone post some photos of a gc60 grass catcher installed on a b series?

Yes, you must remove the lift arms and replace them with the short replacements. I have no viable way of posting photos and my grass catcher is not attached. That said, the short arms should be available from Kubota, though finding part numbers for so-called "whole goods" items is difficult for...

L2501 Front Weights and Grill Guard options ???

Most (not all) Kubota grill guards have provisions to mount some front weights. Some (not all) grill guards can be simultaneously mounted with the front weight bracket. You will not be able to rely on the Kubota build your own application to answer your question because the application likely...

Can anyone post some photos of a gc60 grass catcher installed on a b series?

I have a GC60B grass catcher for my B1750HST, though it is not installed. I also have the owners manual, though not in digital form. It's 15 pages long and I've not scanned anything for years but will try to scan it and email it to you is no one posts photos. I'm going outside to do the 50...

    Idle or Restart

Many variables. If DPF, follow manufacturers recomendations. If no DPF, I tend to leave engines running rather than restarting. Starters, starter drives and ring gears have limited lives. Why accelerate wear? SDT

Machines with turbos- do you let them idle before shutting down

I do not believe it's the issue that it once was. especially if one uses synthetic oil, but I always let all engines, gasoline, diesel, turbocharged or otherwise, idle a bit before shutdown.

Do I need the 3rd function with a hydraulic angling snow blade?

I certainly would not use the word "critical" and how important doing so will be will depend upon conditions. I do so with both of my plows. SDT

Do I need the 3rd function with a hydraulic angling snow blade?

You will need to change the "curl" angle of the FEL while using a FEL mounted snow plow as conditions change. Consequently, trying to use the bucket hydraulic circuit to angle the plow will handicap the set up. That said, you can avoid the expensive third function valve by using a rear remote...

    Gearbox 00 Grease?

Yes. I have 6 rotary cutters, including a 60" MMM bought new in 1993 with my B1750HSD. The MMM has both center PTO driven gearbox and right side, powered grass catcher gearbox. Both have been lubed with "90W," actually 85W90 gear oil since 1993. I change both on occasion (not often enough) and...

    Gearbox 00 Grease?

Additional comments: Corn head grease (available from many AG equipment manufacturers, not just JD) is not 00 lube but CNH pourable High EP lube is. Corn head grease does not pour at temperatures tolerable by humans but CNH High EP grease does. Corn head grease comes in a paper tube as does...

    Gearbox 00 Grease?

Premise: Any lube is better than no lube. That said, I would certainly not recommend corn head grease in any gearbox other than a slow speed unit such as a steering gearbox except in a short term "emergency." It simply does not flow properly and does not have needed EP additives. A much better...
