Lanscape rake vs Pine Straw rake

That's kinda what I figured. There are a few used LS rakes for sale around me, but I have seen none with the gauge wheels. EA has them, but for $1000 or more new, that just seems pretty steep for the complete setup, considering how simple it is.

Lanscape rake vs Pine Straw rake

Due to my schedule and the waiting for the yard to be dry enough to cut the grass (a ~9xxx lb tractor tears up a wet yard in a hurry), my grass is usually fairly long before I get a chance to cut it. I use a side discharge finish mower and wind up with LARGE clumps/piles of clippings that I...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Honestly, I haven't even tested the tractor lights at night yet, but I run the same lights on both my Polaris Ranger and RZR, and they are flat out BRIGHT! They turn night into day. It is incredible how much light they put out, and they are getting cheaper every week. Best mod you could do to...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Today I got my forward 20" and rear facing 12" LEDs mounted and wired up. I mounted my switches on the side of the console. My 72" Piranha tooth bar arrives tomorrow. Hopefully I will have time to get it mounted up. Will post pics if I do.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Within the past week I have gotten mine back from dealer for warranty work. While there, they installed a 3rd function for my FEL. I then installed a 20" forward and 12" rear facing LED light to the ROPS (pictures to follow). Still trying to figure out where to mount the switches. Today I...

I'm having a third function being installed on my loader as I type, while my tractor is back at the dealer for warranty work. I can't wait till I have enough money saved for a grapple.

    M7060 weight

I haven't confirmed with a CAT scale, but I think my M7040 with cast rear wheels, rear tires ballasted and FEL weighs over 9000lbs.

tractor security and dealing with possible theft.

These work GREAT and are less than $100 per year for the subscription. Would be very easy to hide on any vehicle. http://www.finditnowusa.com

    Service Manuals - Kubota Tractors - FEL's - Engines - Decks - Etc.

Nice links! Looks like no free downloads for my M7040. $9.95 surely wont break the bank though, compared to what the stealer wants for the manual. Thanks.

    Something Smelling Hot

From my observations, on this forum only, my tractor is larger than the vast majority of the active users present here, (but not all, of course). The guidelines may be different for the smaller models, so excuse my ignorance.... While it is still in its 50 hr break in period, I would estimate...

    Turnbuckle help on L3800 (L3700SU)

Be sure to keep it plenty greased, that will help in turning it. The grease zerk will not lube the whole range of motion of the threads. Taking it apart for a good cleaning/lube is pretty simple and effective.

    Marking stuff on a tractor

I use my label maker in the same way. Usually on chainsaws and tools or anything with a small engine to let me know when the warranty may be up, oil type/weight and amount, spark plug gap, filter/part #s etc, so. I don't have to reference the manual to look it up. All the info I need is right...
