    M7060 - Need a drop drawbar.

I looked online for one, briefly, and never found one. Perhaps with some more looking I would have come up with something. Will be following this thread...

class 1 to class 2 three point hitch pins.

You will still likely need a bushing for your top link pin unless you enlarge the holes on the implement.

    m7040 4=wheel drive

Looking at the parts diagram, I'm sure mine has the switch, but I haven't had the dash light since day one with .2 hours when new. I'll check the bulb when I get home.

    m7040 4=wheel drive

Are you all referring to cab models? My 7040 has no switch nor dash light, just the manual push/pull lever below the seat to the left in the floor.

Post your ROPS light mounting pics

Thank you. The price on these light bars have really come down a lot in the past few years, and they are very durable.

    Right fender handle

Any idea if one is made for an M7040?

    M7040 Won't Start

I did that originally countless times thinking it had to be the problem, to no avail. I went and checked the fuse block under the dash to the right. There is a mini 5amp starter relay fuse in there. I pulled it and it looked fine, not blown. I replaced it for shits and giggles with one of...

    M7040 Won't Start

Thank you Dave. I have the WSM, but it is at home on my computer. I was unaware of the "slow blow" fuses. I've never heard of them, but I will look for them when I get a chance to get back out to the tractor.

    M7040 Won't Start

Did not get a chance to mess with it today... Oddly enough, I haven't checked fuses yet. They will be the first to eliminate tomorrow, thanks. I got your link, thank you very much! Battery and connections are all verified good. I have not inspected neutral start switch. I will need to...

    M7040 Won't Start

Like the title states 2013 M7040 SUHD 72 hrs. Used it to remove snow, started and ran fine, then parked it. Next day, went to start it and nothing. Checked the battery and it's good. Dash lights come on, wait to start light operates as normal, turn the key and nothing, no sounds not even a...

    Filling tires with liquid weight

But to answer your question, yes you can do it yourself.

    Filling tires with liquid weight

In my opinion, the hassle of removing/reinstalling the tire ballast would FAR outweigh the very minimal savings on fuel economy. Seems like a huge PITA just save a few bucks.

    Box Blade

I disagree. While I have never used a blade for snow, and may work a little better, my box blade does a great job moving and clearing the snow. It also breaks up any ice built up on the driveway with ease.

Modify Box Blade for moving snow?

I use my box blade for snow removal, without any modifications to it. It has front and rear cutting blades, which both work equally well. It also does a decent job of getting the ice up.

    Parts/Install Quote

Attached is a quote I got from a local dealer. I am wanting to add two additional remotes to rear of my M7040, both with float function. I think I can get the parts cheaper (this dealer is known for being way high on prices). I assume those are the part numbers on the left? Know of any place...

    M7060 Comments

If you can find a 7040 leftover, buy it instead. Just my opinion. I'm not a big fan of emission extras. I took advantage of the 0% financing at the time and got a 7040 for less than a 6060, both new....
