That's what I'm checking, Big Block Chevy with high lift solid roller cam, 13 to 1 compression.. Installing thinner head gasket, checking to see if I have at least .100 on the exhaust valve, little less on intake

Lightly oil the piston-valve, install clay. Run test , remove head and carefully remove clay. Cut in half, and mic.

I have some antique Sheppard Diesel tractors, that have 22 to 1 compression ratio. I just learned the hard way there is no room in there. Part of the cold start involves a hand pump hooked to a fuel atomizer in the intake. The atomizer apparently wasn't working, and I pumped liquid fuel into it...

I always make sure it's dry, worse if damp. Just never seen any of my other mowers do it any where near this bad.

I love my ZD mower, but every other time I cut the grass, I have to crank it up, and get the putty knife, and clean all the grass buildup out. Never had any previous mowers do this anywhere near this bad. Any solution?

How do these work, what are they filled with? Don't see any valve stem. Always thought it was important to keep tp equal for straight steering on these. Thanks.

How do you get that knob off so I can remove panel to access ign. switch. ZD331. Never mind. You just pull as hard as you can, it came off. Fell right on my ass in the yard when it finally popped off. Will be getting good coat of never seize, going back on.

Cleaned switches, still have the problem. There are 3 relays, side by side, under the cover under the seat. Which one is the starter relay?

Where is the relay located? Is it just a matter of checking voltage til I find the problem?

Mower has had intermittent cranking issues. Usually, 4th or 5th time it starts. Solenoid kicking in, but not cranking. All connections clean, good battery. Got 10.28 volts, at the solenoid start wire. Thought I read about starter relay issues? Thanks.

ZD 331, 60" deck, bought it used. 3PK Oregon 96-363 Gator Blades fits 60" Kubota ZD21 DZ28 ZD323 ZD326 ZD331 ZG327. Copy and paste this to ebay, you can look at the ad. They are .050 thinner than the Kubota blades. Did a google search, seems to be a known issue.

So I bought a set of Oregon mulching blades. Nowhere near as thick as the Kubota blades, won't tighten up. Anyone have this problem?

Have a new foam grip to put on my ZD331 steering hydro control. Anyone ever done this? Would like some tips before I ruin the new one. Lots of soap? Thanks.
