    Oil Seal for Mid PTo

Thanks to both of you for the prompt responses. I have the parts manual and that's the number it shows. I can get it through Coleman Equip in Kansas City. Will order it yet today. I'm pretty sure that the seal is made by the O-ring behind the flange. The oil seeps out around the flange. Would I...

    Oil Seal for Mid PTo

I have a L5240 equipped with the mid PTO kit to run a front snow blower. The thing has started leaking. Not losing a lot of oil but enough to make a helluva mess on my shop floor. The seal is available and I'm trying to decide whether to replace it or continue to live with the mess. Is there...

    B7610 Intermittent Shutdown

Sure enough. It was the seat switch. Don't know why it didn't occur to me to test it by jumpering. I've had this problem on other Kubotas. Took the switch out and checked continuity while wiggling it side to side. There was enough side play to break the continuity. New switch coming. Thanks...

    B7610 Intermittent Shutdown

I've " static" tested both seat switches with a continuity tester. Both were okay while sitting. I'll try jumpering each one and driving it. Thanks for the quick responses. I'll get back with what I've found after testing them.

    B7610 Intermittent Shutdown

I use this tractor with a 60" mid mower. This spring it's started shutting down frequently. Suspicious of fuel that was in the tank all winter, I drained it all, ran the fuel through a water separating filter, put some of it back in the tank along with some fresh fuel and changed the fuel...

    B1750 Power Steering

My neighbor has an old, well worn B1750. The steering was getting awfully sloppy and it was pushing hydraulic fluid up through the steering column. They decided to try to get it repaired. We don't have any dealers in the area that I'd be confident would repair it without putting more $$ in it...

    Rear Work Lights-L5240 Cab

Thanks for the help. The connectors were, indeed, taped to the cable for the flashers. I bought the "kit" which is nothing but the switch. Pricey but it is lighted and has the logo identifying it's function. After reviewing the electrical diagrams numerous time I concluded that power would come...

    Rear Work Lights-L5240 Cab

I'd like to install Mini LED rear work lights. Kubota makes a "kit" (#T1065-75370) that's a switch for them. I don't know what else is in the "kit". Does anyone have any experience with this "kit". I have the WSM and the wiring diagram shows wire running back above the headliner to each side...

Pirahna Toothbar for Breaking Up Ice

Thanks for the excellent suggestions. I think I'll go ahead and order the Pirahna bar. I've been looking for an excuse anyway. We'll see if it'll get me by. Had an old 3 pt disc years ago and sold it for scrap. Now I wish I hadn't. Ice blade edges for my rear blade would probably be my next...

Pirahna Toothbar for Breaking Up Ice

Do any of you Pirahna users have any experience roughing up or breaking up ice with it? I have a 1/2 mile gravel lane that winds up and down and through timber. I clear snow with a L5240 with a front mounted blower. But, of course, there's always an inch or so that thaws, refreezes and makes...

    G6 Gator blades

Thanks for your help. I've found a set on ebay for $44.50 and am ordering them as soon as I get off of this site.

    G6 Gator blades

Anyone have the Oregon part number for a Kubota RCK60-24B 60" mower deck? I think the original blades are 20 1/2" with a 1 1/8" hole, but I'm not certain. And I'm too lazy to pull one off to measure the hole.

    MMM Belt Tensioner Spring

Thanks for all the good suggestions! Gotta be one of them that'll work for me.

    MMM Belt Tensioner Spring

The shaft in the belt tensioner hasn't taken grease in the 3 years I've had it. So I decided I better address it before it froze up, if it wasn't already. I got the spring off and found that it apparently was getting adequate lubrication. Now I gotta get the d---ed thing hooked back up. At 78yrs...

    Rear Remote for B7610

I'm considering adding a rear remote to facilitate an hydraulic top link. I have one on my L5240 and I couldn't get along without it. I'm trying to move some of my "chores" over to the smaller B7610 tractor. It's small enough to be more suitable for close work around the buildings. Is there out...
