Thank you. So the owner of the company suggested an alternate installation under the seat. I suspect that connection supplies, the three-point hydraulics so if I went that route., same accessible port at the back for the splitter, but I’m thinking you can only use one or the other, the splitter or lifting the splitter to move to another location, which would entail disconnection of the hoses and doing the loop back.

am I seeing this right?

I hate repeating myself. Go back and read my post #33. That is exactly how Kubota does it and you have full simultaneous use of AII hydraulics including the 3 pt.

Quit trying to make this harder or more expensive than it is. I figure about $100 in hoses and fittings.

There is no outlet block on his tractor. Assuming there are no optional hydraulics on his nachine tap in here by deleting the pipe nipple and putting M22 X JIC-08 male ebows on the two pipes. Run two hoses from the elbows to the rear. Put a male coupler tip on one and a female disconnect on the other.

Done.

Its just like factory backhoe outlets. When the log splitter is not connected the two hoses must ALWAYS be looped together. ALWAYS.

Parts #060 and 270. One has a hose that is on the bracket, the other is the return That plugs into the splitter or backhoe. The splitter or backhoe will have a hose that plugs into the bracket. When not in use, the return is plugged into the bracket as the “loop back.” Different lengths of hose, the bracket hose being shorter. Tractor supply or some other online hose dealer?

The pipes are #10 and #220. They are female M22 DIN (medium) tube fittings.

TSC will be limited in the choice, type, and quality of hoses. You are nearby - I can make exactly what yiu need if you have measurenents and you can pick it up on your way north. There wont be any NPT fittings in anything I put together.

I am a bit confused about how the FEL hydraulics are actually attached to the tractor. I had assumed that Kubota had the block style connection points on the L3560HSTC (and that made an ass out of me!). But I looked at the diagrams of the tractor and the LA805 loader and it appears that the loader already is attached into the hydraulics but removing that #70 pipe spacer. But your post #33 does assume there are no “optional hydraulics”!

Are you considering the FEL is installed or not installed?

Where does the FEL attach into the tractor hydraulics when it is installed by the dealer or factory (as the only hydraulic equipment besides the three point hitch)?

Sorry to be so inquisitive. And if you don’t care to answer just say so.

I am assuming it has a loader WITHOUT third function. The loader valve is standard equipment, the third function valve is not. If a third function is installed it is connected just like the logsplitter. In that case the pipe nipple would have been renoved and the log splitter outlets would be fed from the third function return hose.

Thank you for the explanation. I looked harder into the tractor parts list and see that the FEL valve is there now. I see how it is installed and understand the piping now.

Now the hard part will be to remember the information!

I cant find those DIN (Ermeto) elbows - just straight adapters @9 each. Parker may have the elbows but probably expensive if they do.

I figure about $80 for 2 hoses, $20 for couplers and the straights get you to just about $120. Shoukd be neat, easy to assemble, and leak free.

I buy fittings online and make my own hoses. I dont know of anyone local that makes hoses at a reasonable price.

I wish I was at the property to be able to make measurements. The elbows that you mentioned and proper length of the right diameter/pressure rating hose would make it easy to order online, but if something doesn’t fit, then you have to deal with returns and all that. That one outfit tractor innovations all I have to do is give them the model number of the tractor.L-3569 cab and he sends the kit I pay a little bit more for that service but… Kabota must back out hose requirements, etc., and fittings somewhere.

Its not rocket science.

The only thing even remotely obscure is the tube fittings and Kubota parts online clearly says M22 x 1.5. Buy online for a whopping $15 or purchase them from Kubota for $50 each.

Hose is standard 3/8" R16 with JIC-08 female swivel ends. Tape measure tells you length and its not critical. You can be off by a foot or more.

Couplers are standard off the shelf items that you can buy at any tractor supply.

But pay the YouTube man if thats easier. I would be interested in what he charges for something this simple. I already told you my estimate is $120 in materials (Gates custom hose and fittings) and 20 minutes labor.

That is way too big. I have given you everything needed except the length of the hoses. Do you own a tape neasure. Yoh dont need elbows. You can use straights just like the YouTube man.

Send me the lengths of the hoses and I will send you a complete installation for less than $200.

Assuming you mean the elbows to replace the #70 pipe extender, Kubota showed those in the FEL LA805 under the option for the 3rd function valve. They are about $50 each at Messicks site. Part number is shown below.

I planned to do this under the seat like in #33. like I said, I am not near the kubota right now. The tractorinnovations.com guy was coming off the loader block. 6 Fittings connected to power-beyond circuit.jpg

Thats what I am offering to do for you. All I need from you is the length of the hoses and thats something you are goung to have to do sooner or later. Looking at the picture that joint is right at the rear. I could guess and get it "right".
