my apologies for the intrusion. apparently D2Cat is fairly close to me geographically and bought the same model B8200 from the same dealer my folks did 41 years ago. hard not to respond. small forum with narrow band of regular traffic. thread on kubota graphics change turned into a motorcycle color thread.
anyways, I have tried to suggest the simplest solution for you based on my perception of your understanding of the system in your tractor. I was a heavy junk mechanic through fleet manager 37 years. what I would do is probably different than what I would suggest to someone else.
a couple of folks above have given you the nitty gritty of where the connections are and/or their identity by function.
a kit is essentially the same thing with the added bonus of instructions and the fitting adapters, elbows, tees, coupler mounting brackets, etc. to install a working port you can use conveniently for your log splitter and numerous other implements/attachments.
power beyond is a basic supply and return loop. rear remote is different in that it provides a control lever in the cab to a working port for implement cylinders. most can be detented to provide a working port for implements like log splitters with their own local controls and added bonus of remotely operating implement cylinders that do not have local controls.
power beyond provides working ports for implements with their own controls only.
remotes provide working ports for implements requiring control from the tractor that also can be detented to allow local operation on implements with controls such as your log splitter.
it has also been suggested to look at your manuals for your machines, tractor and loader. there is where you'll find connection information to follow their suggestions for diy. if you can follow those diagrams with the understanding of what they're explaining to you, you should be able to make a connection for your log splitter.
I was trying to suggest a kit with parts and instructions to install a permanent connection point that would provide long term versatility.
the other folks are trying to explain how to hook up your log splitter directly. and don't get me wrong, that's not to say that those connections couldn't be used for other implements. but then other changes may need to be made.. and so on.
so again, I suggested installing something same or similar to what the oem option or dealer add-on would have been. this is based on my experience with the 5 tractors I use from 95hp down and a myriad of implements.
if you're just trying to get this one implement hosed up to your machine without concern for other future uses, the kind folks above have given you the info to lead you to get that done on your own.
I think if you get your hands on the manuals and get familiar with your particular machine, you'll be able to make it work just like you need it to.
good luck!
