Hey fellas,

New B6200d owner here. Any luck in getting those front tires in the OEM size?
Just to be clear here: You have a 4wd tractor and are looking for 20.5×8.00-10 ? Lots of options in the previous 2 pages. I personally am using these Predator golf cart tires, (a knock-off of the AT2 ATV tires) which have a bit more bite than turf tires:

Or there's the Kenda K13 (and a Chinese knock-off) if you prefer to stick closer to original styling. And as mentioned early on, there are trailer tires in that size, but they have less bite.

Hey Torch, yes exactly. My mistake for not clarifying. It is in fact 4WD with the original turf tires in 20.5×8.00-10 for the front and 29x12.00-15 for the rear

I’ve been looking for a set of Ag tires or more aggressive tires for the front and rears, but it seems like nobody makes a matching set in those sizes anymore.

I’ve seen tires sizes super close to what we have, but am paranoid that I’ll mess up the gearing.

Maybe we’re just out of luck? I’m not too optimistic about finding a matching set.

Would there be any issues if I switched wheels and tires on my turf b6200d 4wd for the Ag wheels and tires on the Ag b6200d 4wd?

just trying to spitball ideas here. Apologies if these questions are odd, I never grew up around tractors and don’t know much about them

The Ag tires used different rims. They were never available in the same size as the turfs. Turf tires are wider to put less pressure on the ground. If you want Ags, then you need rims too.

I found the Predators are a nice compromise. More aggressive than a turf, not as hard on the lawn as an Ag.

Thanks for the reply torch.

Do you know if the 4wd gearing on the Ag B6200 is the same on the turf B6200? I just don’t want to mess anything up. If it’s the same I’ll be on the hunt for the rims and tires haha

No difference in gearing. Kubota just sized the tires for each to match the tractor's gearing. My guess is that they geared it for a certain combination of commonly available AG tires and the somewhat oddball turf fronts were the result of matching a common rear turf size to the gearing. But that's just a guess.

This isn't true. I put Ag's on my 7100 that came with turfs. 20.5 by whatever they are and 29s on the rear, all Ag's. The fronts are a goofy size, but Kenda makes an Ag. I've had them for a couple years now maybe and work good. No binding in 4wd. I have them now on my 6100 since the skinny Ag's dig into the yard and sink in soft spots. I can't tell if its in 4wd or not sometimes....

Oh nice. I tried finding those matching Kenda tires and haven’t had any luck. Do you mind sharing the link if you can?
