Got my 2360 late fall last year. I have a few questions on the tractor since starting to use it since earl.y spring. Here we go:
I bought the tractor for mowing and scraping my road. Have a 4' rear scrape blade with a belly mower. I would like to keep the scrape blade on while mowing. There is a bracket on the top link connection that will hold it in the up position. The bracket looks to be a bit much to just hold the top link up but not heavy duty enough to hold the scrape blade in the up position when the mower is down. Also, what would you think about tying/chaining the scrape blade to the roll bar to keep it raised when the deck is lowered?
The mower height knob will sometimes turn to the top position to lock the mower in the up position but often it won't turn to this position. I thought I saw online that the position knob can be adjusted.
Really happy with most things on the tractor but the plastic engine cowling is ridiculous to put back on after removing. Just last week I opened the hood and saw that one of the U shaped pieces that the screw claps hold has broken off. The cowling just below this piece has cracked. I want to reinforce this area to prevent the crack growing. I was thinking that somehow gluing a piece of some kind of plastic over this area on the inside of the cowling might me the best way to go. Anyone have the problem and how you fixed it?
